The location of this property and the grounds are nice, but the rooms and inside maintenance are lacking. We were disappointed because we expected more from Worldmark, and a two bedroom condo. Looking around the unit exposed many poor repairs, and many items that need to be repaired (see pictures). Also the front office people were ridiculous in their persistent calls trying to get us to go to their sales presentation (that they assured us was very low pressure). Also the wind blew the flag all night which made a loud banging noise every few seconds. My wife got no sleep, and I made earplugs out of a tissue which finally allowed me to get some sleep.
Two pools, although only one was heated. But the kids loved the splash pad!||Everything you need in the kitchen. The 2-bedrool suite was very big and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful!
Facility is in a great location for hiking with restaurants close by, Fairly easy to get to local attractions. Staff is great, pool area is awesome. Downs are that the workout room is minimal, and our room, at least, really needed some upkeep (water damage to ceiling, beat-up trim, bad paint patch jobs). Kitchen was fairly well stocked with basic dishes.
This timeshare property was probably the worst one I’ve ever stayed in. Although the staff was great. The maintenance of the property was poor they say they in the middle of renovations and we did notice some put it was like putting lipstick on a pig. The hot tubs weren’t working and only one was barely warm. The furniture in the unit was old and dirty and the beds were terrible the worst night sleep would have been better sleeping on the floor. None of the bathrooms had any shampoo or conditioner let alone lotion and just a small bar of soap.
Then they was construction going on at 7:30am with no warning. Not what you want waking you up on vacation. Good location for our agenda.
Check in was odd to say the least. I’ve been an owner for 20 years and simply used my aunts account because I did not want to pay the hosuekeeping fee for a work trip. Young man who checked me in acted like he could not understand my questions and just smiled and nodded at me. Second woman I dealt with acted like I lied on my address on my booking and was dismissive of me until she realized I was an owner. Didn’t realize the sheets in my bed had set in blood stains on them until I was going to leave so that’s great. Floor felt like it was going to cave in at any moment throughout the room and in the shower. Told there wasn’t enough garages available despite MANY of them being left open being used for “storage” and only holding single items like one microwave, one mattress, one stove. Enough so they could easily condense it into one garage so everyone can have a garage. Pool was hotter than it was outside, not smart in a literal desert in the middle of summer. Kids were unattended and jumping on top of people into the pool and screaming their heads off. To top it off the security deposit is more than double any other resorts I’ve ever been to in my 20 years, and it was taken full from my account instead of just being a hold. Now I have to wait several days for a refund.
This "resort" is in a great location however the shortcomings of the property were numerous. It is actually a condo complex called a resort which if you travel with timeshare ownership you likely have come to expect. Both outdoor hot tubs at this location were out of order in one way or another; one had bubbles and working jets but no hot water and the other had relatively hot water but not working jets. The unit size was great, however the cleaning and maintenance flaws really sucked. We arrived to a unit which was clearly older and were told that the units for exchange members were limited to those older units. There were burnt out lightbulbs, inside spider webs and a chrysalis above the entry door and the beautiful master bath jacuzzi tub did not work and the hot water heater was only able to muster enough hot water to fill it with tepid water. The TV was small and could not be cast to and did not have the ability to HDMI to it for a computer hook up and Worldmark charges you for internet access. We will try a different location next time around.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Good accommodations in a great location! Comfortable two bedroom and two bathroom condo. They use cards to enter the pool/spa area and the fitness room, but still use keys for room entry? Little things are missed …. dirty HVAC return, towel holders loose, doors dirty around handles, and neither of the spa jets are working.
The resort is actually in a perfect location, which is central to everything. Only problem is the amenities close by is in a high homeless area, which can be very dangerous during the summer months. The first unit we were given we received a garage door opener. I was happy that we could par our car in the garage due to the hot summer months. This was our first issue. I opened the garage and it was turned into a storage unit for maintenance. I guess all the ilunits they provide to non timeshare members do not have a usable garage eventhough each unit is connected to one. Instead of providing us with a unit with garage they put us in the units that were very outdated. The garage next to ours had a broken garage door that looked like it hadn't attempted to being fixed. It had a snapped cable that was rusted through. Now in a desert the chance of a a rusted cable is almost impossible unless it has been sitting there for a long time. The fitness center was laughable, it was maybe a 10 x 10 room that had dated equipment. The mattresses in both bedrooms sunk in the middle, so it just shows they have not been changed in at least 10byears or more. The bathrooms were dated cracked tike and gaps along the tub walls where water was seeping through. The furniture was the original furniture from I am guessing when these timeshare were developed. Wyndham should be embarrassed to even rent these units out. It is not a resort it is a motel 6 with a kitchen. The only positive was that the kitchen was clean and usable. We did find crumbs and hair throughout the unit.
