I have been coming here for years and never had an issue until today. I would offer more stars back for previous experiences if the customer service wasn’t so awful after the horrendous experience I had today.
I went in for a dip, which usually takes less than an hour even with soaking off the previous color. I was there for TWO HOURS and walked away with nothing to show for it but mistakes. The dip adhesive was EVERYWHERE, my cuticles were bleeding, and there were dents and chips in my nails before walking out the door. One of my nails literally is missing half the top coat and is matte in the center.
When I tried to communicate how unhappy I was with my nails, I tried to be understanding that maybe the mistakes and timing were due to a new employee and the management would handle it accordingly. Instead I was met with an attitude and told that my nails did not warrant a complaint. I can look past one bad nail experience, but the customer service was so horrible I actually felt the need to come Karen to the internet.
0/10 experience. Do not recommend.
I LOVE this nail shop. I've been coming here for 3 years now. My no-chip manicure & pedicure and I also do powder nails. They are perfect everytime. The colors are nice & they do your shape perfect how you request. I don't have anyone specific but the few I've had are great. Thank you!! ????
I’m torn.. the two previous times I came, they did an amazing job on my nails. I came on Sunday and had a man do my nails. I showed him a picture of pink French and he told me he couldn’t do that which is odd for a nail salon but I said fine and got pink. He did my fill in great but was so sloppy with the paint job. There is bubbles on both my thumb nails. At payment, he then told me payment went up WHICH IS FINE AND TO BE EXPECTED in this economy. But paying more for the sloppiest paint job ever? No thank you. The salon itself is beautiful and there is hardly ever a long wait.
The ABSOLUTE BEST place that you can go to get your nails done! ???????? They open the earliest in the area, this place is always very clean, they give THE BEST pedicures. So, you DEFINITELY get your money’s worth & the kindness of the employees is next level. They work fast & the work they do is incredible! I love this place & have been going here for years. “The signature spa pedicure” will change your life & the happiness of your feet. Please support this lovely establishment :-)
I have been going here for years and ALWAYS see Howie - he is the reason I go there! I always feel pampered and relaxed when he does my nails.
I only wish that World Star Nails did not discontinue their nail "frequent visit" punch cards. This was a great incentive to keep going back. I know several other clients that now deduct from their tip because of this or now go somewhere else.
I go to this salon often. I think they do a great pedicure. Today I had a manicure/ pedicure from Alice. She was wonderful! Very meticulous with my manicure. Probably the best I have had done. I will try to get her again!
I treated my 12 year old daughter and myself to a no-chip gel manicure and my daughter left in tears. The technician filed into the bed of her thumb nail, leaving a1/2 inch cut. I didn’t know she was cut and in actual pain until we left and bursted out crying. Acetone and the gel nail polish came in contact throughout the manicure and she kept quiet because she didn’t want to hurt the technicians feelings. My daughter said it was bleeding throughout the manicure, so the technician knew there was an open wound, she should have stopped the manicure and made me aware.
First of all , I am an elementary art teacher and I have a toddler … soo my nails are gross and stubby . They did an amazing job on my no chip and really cleaned up my nails . The place was super clean and very spacious. I will definitely go here again . I would love to know the lotion they used when they did my hand massage . It gave a warm and cool sensation. I loved it
