Chose this spot cuz I thought it would be a did a place to get a quick bite to eat which was incredibly wrong Assumption. I feel very sorry for the single waiter they had working on staff It took us around an hour to get our food I got my buffalo chicken sandwich before the appetizer even came out and we had to wait another 20 minutes for my boyfriend's burger to come out they didn't seem understaffed because there were about seven other staff members sitting in booths talking with each other while the lone bartender, both bus tables and served drinks My boyfriend got a diet Pepsi which did not come out until after the food was served and he was never even offered a refill The food was fine and it's not the server's fault that there is definitely management issues at this location If you're going to go here I would recommend not getting food at all and just sticking to the bar unless you have lots of time to kill
I really like the place, nice deck I waited there for 30 minutes. Waiter never came over to take my order. so i went to the bar. Got a drink, ordered food to go. I seen the waiter wait on 3 other tables on the deck. He never said hello or approached me, The bartender was very sweet. The chicken nuggets were a nice size a little dry , good chili!
I will visit again.
My daughter, her boyfriend, and I decided to come here. It is hard to rate this place fairly because:
1. They were short staffed
2. It was St. Patrick's Day
3. It was the first round of March Madness
4. It was trivia night
Getting seated was not an issue. Beautiful night, great patio and nice ambiance inside and out. It took almost 15 minutes for anyone to come by our table. After another long wait, we gave our drink order. Almost 30 minutes after arriving, we got our drinks but still had to order our meals. Food finally arrived almost 45 - 50 minutes after having been seated. On a Friday or Saturday night with a full capacity crowd this would be expected. Even with items 1 - 4, the restaurant was about half full because we had arrived around 8pm. Food was decent but my lemon pepper wings had too much dry rub and our server seemed to forget to check on us. Pretzels and food looks amazing in other photos so I would give them the benefit of coming on an off night for the staff. Just rating this visit and our experience.
As a public health worker and food inspector, I’ve never been more appalled by the state of a restaurant. World of Beer is not just poorly managed—it’s downright filthy. Employees are incredibly rude, with zero sense of customer service. Worse yet, I had a strong suspicion that some of them stealing money from other employees tips.
The hygiene? Absolutely abysmal. There were fruit flies swarming around everywhere. The entire place reeks of neglect, and it’s clear that cleanliness is not a priority here. I can’t believe a place like this is allowed to serve food and drinks in such conditions.
If you care about your health and expect even the slightest bit of respect and cleanliness, DO NOT come here. There are plenty of better places to spend your time and money. This is one of the worst establishments I’ve ever encountered. Stay far away!
Love the lights outside and the space inside. Variety of beer choices, love the Parmesan truffle fries and shrimp tacos. Other food choices can be a hit or miss, same with the cocktails. Service was really slow and hard to catch people to help.
My take on this place is not a completely informed opinion because i did not drink any alcoholic beverages nor was i there for the nighttime scene, but… i did recently come here for an event i was guest speaking at and the food that was served was delicious and the service was great! The design and decor is cute and welcoming.
The food here is excellent, and they switched management a few weeks back. What a disappointment. I've been there several times and now count on almost comically bad service. There have always been 3-5 staff members when I've been there, but they all hang out by the register talking. They never scan the room to see if anyone needs them (I mean NEVER). They don't even look over when they walk by. Every time I've been there I've ended up having to walk across the room for service, water, utensils, etc. You'd think having a customer have to leave their seat would wake them up, but nope, they just go right back into their little social scene. There seems to be NO training regarding customer service, and nobody seems to know what is going on with the food OR the beer. No beer list at all for the cans. Get it together, guys. Maybe time for management 3.0?
It took an hour and 1/2 to get 1 burger, wings, flatbread, side salad and draft beers. The ambience was calm, games were playing on TV and not too crowded. Simple items, but service was slow with minimal effort. All 4 waters were not filled once and were empty. Only able to get 1 refill on beer. Food ok aside from wait & “bag salad and strange small portion chicken that was supposed to be grilled.“ overpriced for food quality.
Wings were great when they arrived- lemon pepper.
