We really enjoyed our time at WOB Fowler. I’m a fan of their beer delirium tremens ???? it never disappoints! My hubby ordered their buffalo wings. He said they were hot and really good. I had the Philly cheesesteak and it was sooo delicious! The loaded fries with beer cheese were pretty good too. We sat outside, it wasn’t busy at all for a Saturday night. Service was great. We will be back.
We had a great time. Best waitress ever! We had Chicken Caesar salad and a soft pretzel. Everything was delicious. Of course the drinks were great. Very cool laid back crowd.
This one is a challenge because we both ordered salads, at World of Beer. We didn't order any beer and who thinks of World of Beer when you just want a salad? Well we were staying at a hotel nearby and just wanted a salad and World of Beer had them so off we went.
Going in I don't expect a sports bar like this to be a salad Mecca. That would be like expecting Perkins to have a great grilled salmon. Yes they have it but should you expect 5 stars? Bottom line, if you put it on your menu, you should deliver it well! If you can't, take it off your menu. So, salads are on the menu so here we go...
We ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad and the House Salad with vinaigrette. Both were fairly large but not huge (you'll finish it). The House Salad was very good. The Caesar Salad lacked enough dressing to give it any taste. I asked for more to punch it up. The grilled chicken was hot and cooked well. The "pretzel" croutons were hard and stale. Not a horrible salad or one I would complain about but not stellar either. So I averaged the two salads to a 4 out of 5.
The waitress was nice and did ask us if we needed anything extra. The cost was a bit high for salads but everything is lately at restaurants.
A nice experience, wouldn't go out of my way to go there for salads but then, who would? Next time we'll try something different to eat.
WOB is a classic, american-style restaurant with- you guessed it- lots and lots of beer!! They have an impressive range of IPA’s, although the price for a glass is a bit high. Their food is very greasy and hearty- only come here if you’re not on a diet???? If you come alone or with friends, it’s guaranteed you’ll have a fun time.
Well, I must admit I liked the place at first sight but we had the slowest service EVER. Omg I ordered a sweet and had to wait like half hour and I didn’t want to go home since we already paid. Also they said it was taking longer cuz there was a lot of ppl and as you can see the place was less than half capacity. Pretty bad service. The server took forever to take the order. So I would NOT recommend this place if you don’t have enough time to wait…
Excellent service ! Came here on a whim for some drinks, I had a small issue but Erin fixed the issue immediately and made sure I was happy ! Great drink and Superb service , staff is super sweet , I will be back to try some items on the menu for sure! My overall experience was good here and I will definitely be back!
Me and the wife came here on 11/11/2024. We had such a gr8 experience we'll definitely be back. The beer cheese on the nachos was awesome. So tasty. I had the truffle burger and the wife had a build your own burger. And lem.e tell u, the burgers were cooked perfectly. All this with super friendly service!
It was such a treat to catch lunch here, the big grey sectional is probably the most comfortable couch I've ever sat on! The atmosphere was so relaxing and inviting, you might never want to leave. Not many vegan options but I was able to customize my tacos, which was very nice. They also have sweet potatoe fries! There's plenty of TV screens for anyone trying to catch the game, and some arcade games to play. There is plenty of seats inside, but the outdoor seating area is beautiful! They even have a fire pit. Great place to catch up with friends and family.
