Fast friendly service decent beer selection,and good food decently priced close to the heart of spanish springs,excellent choice right around sunset
This is from February 20th 2021. Worst experience ever as you can see from the pictures we got spinach dip which just look like they put a bunch of food coloring in, burnt toast, on a moldy wooden board. the chicken wings look like they came from the smallest chickens ever still had the feathers on them. we would wait sometimes an hour for another round of drinks to come to the table. and three of our party had to wait three hours for their food while the rest of us had eaten and finished already
The food and drinks were great and the staff/waitress we had gave us 5 star service. She allowed us to sample drinks beforehand and checked on us often, gave recommendations, and took good care of us. They have a special every night of the week and we came on Wednesday where they have $1 per wing deal. The wings and pretzel with beer cheese is delicious. The Ciderboys Papaya Paradise hard cider is really good! I'm not a fan of beer but the blueberry one wasn't too bad.
I forget the name of our waitress but she is in her 20's long dark (black) hair and long blue and white manicured nails - she worked at 5pm on Wednesday August 30th.
The place was nice with lots of options and the food great. Boneless wings were delicious.
We met some friends for lunch on their last day of vacation in FL from MN. Mike greeted us immediately upon entry and seated us. He also took our orders & served. I think he even mixed our drinks, too. And let me say: the drinks were excellent (we didn't even have any beer!) This was our second time and I have to say, I love the bar, and the mixologists! And the vibe is chill & fun. The food was great. The service prompt & attentive. The atmosphere delightful. Check it out.
Editing my review from last time, we had a very good experience here out of season. Our bartender, Sandy was the best and was super friendly and attentive. We will be back when on the area and hope she is still there.
Not sure why I come back to WOB. The staff could not care less about taking care of the customers. The website states happy hour from 3-7 Monday- Friday…bartender informed me I missed it and it ends at 6pm. Mentioned the website and they should correct it she says whatever. 17 of the 50 beers taps are out hardly consider the the “World” of beer, that’s just some beer. 22 minutes and she has not taken my food order. Again not sure why I’m here.
When we got there we were told to seat ourselves and there was a lot of seating so we just picked a table near the bar. It had not been fully bussed from the previous guest. After waiting a long time, we were finally brought menus and the table was cleaned. Following another long wait, we placed an order for drinks and an app. The app came out almost immediately and was cold. We finished the app before our waters arrived. We finished those before our beers arrived. We nearly finished those before we were asked if we wanted to order entrees. We proceeded to do so and then waited some more, and some more, and... you get the point. Finally, three of us got our food. We had to hunt down our waitress, who clearly did not want to be there, to ask about the final dish. Another 15 minutes went by before it was brought out. It was delicious. Our waitress complained that she was very busy with a lot of tables, as if that excuses the atrocious customer service and long waits. The restaurant is obviously very poorly managed, but the food is good if it's hot.
