Overall good experience and wide selection of menu items to choose from. Service was good and only waited about 10 minutes for food. If you order seafood, you are able to see it in the front counter to order before it’s cooked so I think I will try the fried conch next time. Portions were very generous and sides were good. I was happy with the mixed greens but the Mac and cheese couldn’t have been a bit hotter. Will definitely return to try additional items.
Let support that local business ???????????????? this is the first time coming to this spot and it was not let me down. I had the BBQ chicken sandwich which was really good. Chicken was nice and tinder with some amazing BBQ sauce. Also had the conch sauce it nice and tinder but I would say need a little more spices. But over all I would recommend this place to anyone.
Now this place sells some real good soul food. You get a good portion and its affordable. You"ll get full for sure. The wait time is reasonable. It can get crowded at times but they move. The people here are professional and courteous. The only downside to it is that the parking can be a hassle bc the parking lot is so small and if you park anywhere else your car will get towed. But the security up front tries to accommodate and help you park.

My family and I just got off a cruise and was looking for something to eat. This family owned restaurant was such a good find. The food was great ????. Shout out to Mayzell for her amazing customer service! If you’re in the area please go support this hidden gem ❤️.
Got a rib dinner with macaroni, yellow rice and string beans only thing I could eat was the ribs. The macaroni was so dry the string beans was so bland taste like black pepper and the yellow rice had no taste. And was kinda hard. The conch fritter was burnt on the outside mushy on the inside.
Had a craving for a sweet potato pie and dressing. However, I was extremely disappointed with my food. The sweet potato pie and dressing was over cooked. World's Famous food quality has been on a steady decline.
They offer a nice variety of home cooked items. All dinners included rice. You get to add two side dishes.
Their food is reasonably priced.
I had turkey wings which were cooked to perfection. I also had pigeon peas and rice, macaroni and cheese, and green beans.
The food is just an average okay. No "Wow" in it at all. The collard greens & cabbage receipe need some major improvements. The Oxtails & gravy needs to be made from scratch. Taste like they're cooking it in some type of brown powder gray mix. That's a no-no. Now the Mac n Cheese, bake beans, potatoes salad is good. String beans is a NO! Yellow rice is just plain jane. Fried shrimp is good & flavorful. The cakes are not moist at all. Pass me some water please. Seems like the cooks are just comfortable to have a job because most of the food is just a basic boring/ ok. Oh and the ribs use to be really good but now it's just (shoulder shrug-ok). I still patronize here because it's close to the house but improvement are needed.
