The chicken sandwich and crinkle cut fries were delicious! I got the mild plus which had some heat but I like heat so I'll probably go hot next time. I love that they use thighs and not just breasts. So much more flavor. The crinkle cut fries were nice and crispy and great flavor.
I can’t hype this place enough. Whenever I visit the bay Hotboys is top on my list of places to eat.
The tender combo comes with 2 massive tenders and a bunch of fries. The chicken is insanely flavorful, perfectly juicy and has a satisfying breading crunch. I get the mild+, and as someone with medium heat tolerance, I find it perfect. The fries are always hot and have great seasoning. I usually find myself finishing all my fries cause they’re so good.
There’s some parking around but it could get a little tricky depending on the time. Be sure to order online beforehand to streamline the whole process.
Ordered food for my daughter who does not like spicy at all, specified not spicy for the chicken but not the fries. When I saw seasoning on the fries I asked if it was spicy, and was told that it was a little bit spicy. They didn't have to but the staff said they would remake the fries without the seasoning. I really appreciated the customer service. Thank you guys, and I will be on the lookout for your food and the money sauce cause it was straight up MONEY!
Best chicken sandwich ever! Love the crinkle cut fries too. I always get the medium plus u which is kind of spicy; would suggest medium for the correct level of spice.
It's the real deal. The only place better than here is Chick n bros in San Jose. But between these two, they're so far in the lead that places like Dave's Hot Chicken aren't even in the rear view mirror. Been going since they opened and it truly is an amazing sandwich. Incredibly big, tender, well flavored, and satisfying. They also use dark meat which is a MAJOR plus. Just a great restaurant and this og location has the 90's urban vibe that makes us 80's and 90's kids feel right at home. What a cultural and culinary gem.

The chicken portion in the burger is huge and flavorful, though it could be a bit crunchier. Still, it’s good enough as it is.
The fries, unfortunately, were served warm to cold, and it’s obvious they’re the frozen kind. While they sprinkle some seasoning (likely MSG) to make them somewhat addictive, they still aren’t great, though you might find yourself eating them anyway. On the plus side, the portion is extremely abundant.
Delivery was quick, taking only around 5 minutes, and the customer service was top-notch. Combo #1 $16
hands down best fried chicken sandwich in my life. if i were to eat an unhealthy lunch, this would bring me the most pleasure and it’s all worth it! the chicken is very juicy and tender. the sauce for the fries was mind blowingly good.
BEST CHICKEN SANDWICH the fries are fire and they believe in the American big portions ♥️ wavy well seasoned fries and it comes with huge piece of fried chicken. Even for an order to go you can feel the crunchiness
