I must say I was pleasantly surprised!
When we arrived at 1130 a.m., I was honestly concerned there weren't many people. (Always a red flag at a buffet)
This time is just too early by noon. The place was hopping.
Pros: nice variety, all dishes were hot and fresh. The Seafood boil was amazing!
Service was better than most buffet, our gal kept our drinks full and plates cleared.
Price was more than fair.
Cons: The beef well done as with most buffet, the American food was bleak.
Building could use a good cleaning inside and out.
I will definitely stop on our next outing to Monroe and recommend if you want decent selection and good service give them a try.
So happy this place is back open, serving good food and excellent service!
Food is always cold whenever I come. It’s 5pm prime time for dinner and everything is cold? But you guys just walk around with warm kettles of water pouring it on everything like that will fix it? I think I should just put all the cold food on a plate and set it on the edge of my table because it’s unreal ???????? I asked them to make something fresh because it was cold and it seemed like she had no clue what I was saying, I kindly repeated myself and walked away. She just sat there and started at what I pointed at for a long time then walked away.
This was a great dining experience. The food was fresh, my drink was never empty, and the waiter was very attentive. They had patience with the children attending. The buffet and tables were kept sparkling clean. I'm so glad World Buffet was able to reopen!
I like the chicken fried rice,Meat on a stick (whatever that is?) and cashew chicken. And of course buy a side of brown sauce and pour it on everything! :) They are polite (unlike alot of places these days) the buffet has enough choices to create a nice meal. I like having a sample of many things rather then just one dish. Makes it interesting and never get bored with it. They have pizza and things? if you want that Go to a burger or pizza place imo.
This place isn't really for that. I'll be here for thanksgivng :) Take that turkey
The worst foods I've ever eaten in my life. I wouldn't recommend my neighbor's French bulldog to eat there. Like frfr. Don't waste your money eating at the world buffet. ????
The chicken on the sticks wasn't cooked completely. Still charged for the meals even though we left without eating anymore than a few bites.
There is plenty of selections of food here. The have American food, meatloaf, roast beef, macaroni and cheese.
They have absolutely delicious honey shrimp! There are both spring rolls and egg rolls. There is fried rice and chop suey.
They also have a variety of salads and two soups.
There is also a variety of desserts, including pudding, jello, cookies, and cakes.
They serve Pepsi products.
You can also have hot tea.
There are tables and booths for your sitting needs.
Everyone gets a fortune cookie.
Be aware, you should bring cash as There is a service charge if you use a credit card.
