Amazing experience! I am not one to slander, but I received better care here than at my primary doctor’s office. One of the NPs, Amy, saved me quite literally. She was comforting, intelligent, and an amazing medical provider and overall person! My nurse was waiting for me for my appointment behind the front desk with a welcoming smile, making me feel appreciated and cared for. The front area staff is just as amazing. Very quick and approachable. Thank you all tremendously!
Unsure why reviews are so low! Today was my second visit here within the last 2.5 weeks. Once for myself and once for my daughter Jordynn both for bronchitis..Dr Amy was beyond amazing! Super sweet and knowledgeable .. wait time was less then 10 minutes. Nurse and gentleman at front desk were both sweethearts! Well be back (if needed lol) thanks for making us feel better!
Got there to my appointment 30 mins early. They got me right in, front end staff very friendly. The nurse who took my vitals was very good at doing her job. Amy Summers was very professional, took her time and really seemed to care. Definitely will be back in 2 years!!!!!
I was nervous about going in for my appointment that my new job set me up with based on the reviews. Upon arrival, everything went very well and the staff was all very helpful from the front desk to the NP that did my physical. Even when my company did not send the proper paperwork, they were extremely helpful in rectifying the issue. I am normally not one to write reviews but I felt like the rating posted on here does not reflect the reality of this business!
I went to Workfit medical on Feb 16th for my annual physical which I needed to submit to the United States Coast Guard to maintain my medical certificate for my job. As I was leaving their office, I asked them for my 719k form which they were completing throughout the entire physical so I could immediately send it to the USCG. They said I have to wait and get it from my job once they send it over in a few days. Well, they never sent it. When they did send it, several sections were not filled out and we had to go back and forth several times to get everything filled out correctly. My company normally uses another medical service for all our employees that I was conversing with to help get my paperwork from Workfit. They called and emailed several times and I made several phone calls as well. Today, April 10th, I called them again and said they are severely interfering with my livelihood and I need my paperwork completed and signed asap. If I don’t have a valid medical certificate, I can’t report to my job working offshore. I’ve got exactly 6 weeks to receive my medical certificate or I will have to sit home, unpaid, until it arrives. The nurses/physicians at the clinic seemed ok, a little unprofessional but not too bad. They were pretty efficient at getting me though the physical process which took about 2.5 hours but they could care less if I received my completed paperwork in a timely manner. My sense of urgency meant nothing to them and I was getting very frustrated. I only use this facility because it’s relatively close to my house but I will not use them again. They have more bad reviews than good which should tell you something…find someplace else to go to if you need your paperwork/ results in a timely manner.
Clean bright facility with friendly staff that works efficiently and thoroughly for a vast variety of medical issues that walk through the doors. Management is very conscientious and overall a very good experience for myself and others within our business.
This is just a normal Urgent Care. I was nervous to go in reading all these horror story reviews, but I had truly a mundane and pleasant experience. Receptionist and nurse who helped me were both pleasant and professional, and I was out of there within 35 minutes. I waited for under 10 minutes after checking in, and my drug testing and physical were done quickly. No complaints, seems whatever was going on before is fixed now?
Avoid going to this business at all costs!
This is the only review I have ever left on a business. But I felt that I must. If I could leave zero stars I would!
My company has been using the Albany location for over 10 years to do our drug screens and physicals. Every time I have been there I have found the staff to be rude and unprofessional (even the physicians) as well as ridiculously long wait times and almost always a problem with the authorization paperwork. On today's visit I was once again greeted by a rude receptionist who would not process my drug test because of a paperwork "issue". Even once she had my boss on the telephone granting approval she refused to give the test. As tensions escalated I was thrown out of the building for having my mask below my nose by a receptionist who was obviously ill and wearing her mask below her nose. I am happy to say that my boss has decided our company is no longer going to do business with WorkFit medical. I cannot understate how pleased I am to never have to set foot in that building ever again.
