Best WLM Reviews
The place was small but cozy. The cuts and the meat were really nice and taste delicious. The cost a little bit high but I guess if you want to go and have a special time with friends may be worth it. However, since it was people waiting outside for a table our waiter was a little bit anxious so, we pay the bill and leave the table, no time for chitchat at all after eating, in case you want to go in a date or so. Also, when we arrived we had to wait 45 minutes to get a table. I don’t know it this is what always happens at night but I just mentioning so people that want to visit this place are aware that this may happen to them. You can not make a reservation ahead so it is what it is when you arrive there. Overall a nice experience.
Came here for my anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint. Here was my experience in WOOGA:
For starters… staff were all amazing, attentive and fast! There was always someone coming around checking the grill and on top of that checking on us.
We got the Fresh Crescent Duck and was well worth it as it came with the kimchi stew and the steamed egg on the side.
The steamed egg was actually pretty fluffy and highly recommend.
The WOOGA beef combo came with so much meat it felt like we were in heaven.
Lastly, parking lot available. Can be very tight if restaurant is very busy.
I would recommend this place to all my friends if they lived in NJ.
This is one of my favorite kbbq place in NY/NJ! The quality of the meats here are really good! The side dishes are very flavorful tasted like the ones I had in Korea. Highly recommend the spicy cold noodle here too.
Great service but no reservations, so most likely have to wait a little.
Reasonably priced but none of the meats really stood out to me.
The side dishes were good and the eggs weren’t as fluffy as they looked/were had hoped.
Overall a pretty good bbq experience.
The Wagyu taste like heaven
From the first bite to the last, it felt like entering a time chamber of pure bliss. It's rare to experience such a perfect feast with food. Miss it already????
Used to frequent this restaurant before its name change (didn’t realize that they also changed their menu…some items were no longer being offered; probably changed ownership as well). We ordered the Wooga combo which was really good. Quality of the meats is visibly superior. However when we ordered the add-on kimchi pork tofu soup, they are a bit stingy…only filled up to half bowl. We brought up to their attention but there was no response to why give so little for a $6 charge. Wooga, you should do better. It’s not a cheap place, fill it up!
I recently visited wooga, and it was an outstanding Korean BBQ experience. The atmosphere was lively, with a modern and clean design that made the space feel welcoming and vibrant. The service was top-notch; the staff was attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with grilling or explaining the dishes.
The highlight, of course, was the food. The meat selection was excellent—well-marinated, fresh, and flavorful. The galbi (beef short ribs) and samgyeopsal (pork belly) were particularly delicious. They provided a generous assortment of banchan (side dishes) that were refilled regularly, with favorites like kimchi, pickled radish, and seasoned vegetables adding variety to the meal.
I also appreciated the option to cook the meat at the table, making the dining experience interactive and fun. The dipping sauces and the lettuce wraps enhanced the flavors perfectly. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality and quantity of food.
Overall, wooga delivers an authentic Korean BBQ experience that’s hard to beat. It’s a perfect spot for a casual dinner with friends or a special occasion. I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!!!
The meat was great, but there were too many people, and the tables were located too close too each other, making it very croweded, and not a convenient environment. However, the meat was above par, and would recommend it over the other K-BBQ places around the area. I also like their banchans.
