Great classy drive in for delicious hotdogs and burgers! Service is fast, everything is a good price, and portion sizes are generous. Indoor and outdoor seating are both limited, and customer service has been great each time I have visited. I am excited for my next visit. Woofie dog and double burger is a solid order!
A little bitty place with a chill, throw-back vibe. Lots of hot dog choices. They also make a good smash burger. They close at 5p.
The Woofie was incredible. One of the best Chicago dogs I’ve had. Perfectly crispy fries and adding chili and cheese was the move. Staff were super friendly and our food came out quick. Stellar experience overall!
The food is made to order Had been wanting to go for years now. So we dined in. My guy got the 12' Chicago style dog. The peppers and onions were delicious with the two poppy seed buns. Had to take a bite???? I had the woofy smash Chicago style burger. When I say it melted in my mouth. The bun was fresh n soft. We shared a little big fry. Luved it❤️????????????
This place is like walking into a real life nickelodeon show, with the bright colors and classic diner look. If you like Chicago style dogs (or creative hot dog toppings) this place is for you! Side note, the burgers are the bomb dot com. Everything fresh and tasty. You won't be disappointed!
There is limited seating on the interior (guessing 6-8 ish people) and self service dining, like fast food. You can ask for free refills on soda which i liked. This place is more so geared for to go orders but can accommodate someone or a few people possibly eating in. You can also park outside where the drive up service used to be and eat there.
Expect a long line if you go at...mostly anytime. It's well deserve. Delicious and well-priced Chicago-styled hotdogs.
Come on down to the now improved Woofies Hotdog. This restuarant has very good employees, and the buisness seems to be booming. Always a rush of people for a sliver of the past with a woofies dog. The Big Herm a chicago style 12" dog so good ad some cheese fries soo delicious. The owners are beautiful people and really ad charm to this restuarant, and would truly recommend you come check them out and get yourself a hotdog. P.S. I forgot to mention they have burgers too, so come check it out bring the family and friends. Ample parking and a friendly environment...
Woofies is just a really solid hot dog, hamburger, and Italian Beef place.
The dogs are the star of the show. Chicago style and others. Really good hot dogs. The best I've found in STL.
However, don't discount the burgers and Italian beef. The burgers are smash style, and done very well. Classic fast food style, but done very well.
The Italian beef I can't really judge. Its a new sandwich to me, so I can only compare 5-6 other places. Its legitimately very good to me, and I occasionally get it over a dog or burger.
Fries are good, but not amazing.
They have cherry coke, which is relatively unusual and appreciated.
