Best WLM Reviews
This is a very authentic southeast Asian restaurant. You can grab your average Chinese American food here and be safe or you can experience real food from other countries. This is where my wife, who is from Thailand, likes to go eat so she can get the ‘real’ deal. And if she asks for HOT and I mean HOTTT and spicy she can get it here. Nice people and good prices.
I recently dined at Woody's and Things, and overall, it was a delightful experience. We tried a variety of dishes, and each had its own unique flavor that left us quite satisfied.
We started with the **Squid Salad**, which was refreshingly light and had a nice balance of tanginess and spice. The squid was tender, and the fresh herbs added a vibrant touch to the dish.
Next, we had the **Tofu Clay Pot**, which was a hearty and comforting choice. The tofu was perfectly cooked, with a nice crispy exterior and soft inside, soaking up the rich, savory broth beautifully.
The **Fried Fish** was another standout. The fish was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned just right. It paired well with the dipping sauce that came on the side.
Finally, the **Seafood Tom Yum** was a fantastic finish. The broth was a perfect blend of spicy, sour, and savory, loaded with a generous amount of seafood. The flavors were authentic and bold, making it the highlight of our meal.
The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I would definitely recommend Woody's and Things for anyone looking to enjoy delicious Thai cuisine.
You can tell this place has been around for a while, and it definitely is a local favorite. Being a visitor, this was definitely different for me.
A big mix of Thai, Lao, Chinese, and Cambodian dishes.
The menu was overwhelming. Probably like 100 things to choose from, and it did take a while to find what I wanted to try.
We ordered Mongolian beef, sesame chicken, appetizer platter, beef laab, and beef & brocoli.
I must say, the Mongolian beef was not what I expected. Everything tasted almost like a home cooked meal in an Asian household to me, which I liked, but the flavor wasn't entirely there.
I thought since it was called woodys wings, they specialized in some unique wings, but we just got regular Buffalo.
I would come back to try something else.
After eating at Woody’s, I really feel like I’ve been around the world. The menu is a three ring binder with so many options, but don’t be intimidated by all of the choices of the lack of prices. The food is a bargain. The flavors, textures, and colors of the food at this restaurant are incommensurable. Starting with the appetizers, the egg rolls had unique an unexpected flavors all tucked into a delicately fried crust. The fresh spring rolls are well-rolled and attractive. Go for the Hot and Sour soup if you want a little bit of tangy challenge, the same with the Cambodian soups, especially the tripe. The chicken and vegetables with spicy lemon grass was fresh and colorful, with a great coconut based sauce. The staff provides super friendly service and the dining room is very comfortable. You can feel free to linger over your meal because there’s no hurry. Thanks for a great lunch!
Went here for dinner when we visited family in Denver. Very good deep fried sea bass and one of the best chicken wings I've ever had...
Absolutely loved this place! If you want a good mix of south East Asian food come here! Our favorites were the Cambodian dishes! It certainly felt very close to how Ma makes her food ❤️
My absolute favorite was the fried ginger garlic fish! The homemade sauce was savory and spicy! Delicious!
This place is a hidden gem, and may get packed on nights with regulars. They excel at SE Asian food, and will bring out a binder with several dozen pages of food items. Contrary to stereotypes about this sort of thing, every item we've gotten has been top notch with generous portions. Our go-to is the lemongrass wings, which has a taste unlike anything else we've ever found.
This place is great! I love that they kept the old name, Woody's. Don't be fooled, this is an authentic east Asian restaurant. The wings are good, but the specialty fish is the star of the show! Service is friendly. The decor is a hilarious mix of nice Asian design mixed with the original logo and layout.
