1st impression, older steakhouse kept up nicely. Seated in the dinning room which has some interesting decor. The tables have linen clothes and silverware wrapped in linen napkins. Not bad at all. Looking over the menu there's a really adequate selection of dinners to fit anyone's taste. Order placed and a short time later the salads were delivered in a small shallow bowl with homemade dressings. This is where I kind lost hope in the place. I unwrapped the silverware from the linen to find generic, very cheap sharp edged utensils. Worse that you get from a buffet line. For an upscale restaurant, this is a major negative failure on they're part. I even said something to the waitress and asked to talk with a manager. Never happened. Food arrives and presentation was nice. Back on track to enjoy the meal using uncomfortable silverware, that didn't last long, hit by way to much salt in the dinner. Big disappointment and honestly cannot recommend this location to anyone based on my experience and lack of management interest to talk with me.
I ordered the 18 ounce ribeye and it was delicious. My kids got kids meals and they absolutely love them. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff is so super friendly. I recommend this place. I will definitely be back. A plus I also recommend the spinach and artichoke dip fairy delicious
This was my husband and i first time here when I say the food was amazing it’s no lie the steak was so good I almost cried on top of it Jackie our server was the nicest most accommodating server I think iv ever had the over all experience was just more then we could have asked for
NY strip was one of the best I have ever had. First timer and I would most definitely eat here again. Really good for my birthday dinner after a long Harley ride from Milwaukee.
Me and my partner came here 10 minutes before closing, and we had an outstanding experience. Even though they were closing in 10 minutes, they still accepted us and gave us the same service as someone who would have came in during normal hours. We had the opportunity to have the waitress, Jackie. I’m the type to be very clueless on the drink and food menu, so I followed her suggestions, and we had delicious food, and a wonderful experience.From the drink, appetizer, and down to the main course, we were satisfied. Jackie was very sweet, positive, and outgoing. If you’re looking for a good fresh meal, I would go here.
Come hungry, be patient with the service, and enjoy the delicious food. Be aware that the menu online is outdated. All steaks and prime rib are market price (Feb 2024) of $50 or higher. The atmosphere is more of an upper scale restaurant. There were only 2 servers on a Sunday night with the full restaurant. Service was minimally attentive and the hostess/bartender was overwhelmed. Only positive things to say about the food.
Excubrient prices for steaks that don’t seem to be of the quality they claim. I ordered the Ribeye medium rare, it’s not charbroiled and it was pan fried, tough as leather over cooked , with a side of the most blan pathetic onions, over cooked mushy carrots that tasted like sugar, the wild rice was nothing to rave about. The salad was iceberg lettuce with a chunk of tomato that came from the cheapest supermarket, I asked for balsamic dressing and I got Italian, what appeared to be Kraft dressing. The steak was priced at $65US, I have spent two weeks from Ohio to Nebraska, Denny’s steak was far more tender and tasty.Lazlo’s Brewery &grill top notch, Texas Road house????????, but Woody’s ,,, Very disappointed. Please think twice before ordering steak at this place .
After giving this place a second chance you couldn't pay me to go back. Took staff 40 minutes, after we were seated, before anyone even asked us what we wanted to drink. After getting our food the steaks were over cooked and the aroma in the room smelled of urine. Which made for a very unpleasant dinning experience. We took our food to go, and the next day everyone became extremely sick. Very unhappy with our dinning experience, never will we be returning.
