Woody’s - Great spot to rest off I45! Jerky, Jerky and more Jerky! Every kind of jerky ever made. They give out FREE jerky samples. Great Barbecue. We had sliced brisket sandwiches, so good. They have jars of anything you can fit in a jar! See my pictures. Thousands of them! Oh yeah, they also are a Shell station, so stop for gas and fill up on Jerky! ????????????
This review is for the restaurant section of the convenience store/restaurant. I purchased a few items and spent about $80 or more. It was quite busy, so I grabbed these barbecue sandwiches, which were awful—mostly fat and grease; I couldn't even eat them. I needed napkins, as they weren't available for people to grab and go. I asked the lady behind the counter at the restaurant for some, and she gave me an attitude and asked where I had ordered and why I didn't have napkins. She glared at me and rolled her eyes. If this lady had a name tag, I would've made sure to include it for the owners of this establishment. Terrible counter service!!!! Overpriced for fat
My “go to” every time I drive to & from Frisco to Navasota for work. The breakfast tacos ???? are GREAT, and I cannot resist the warm chocolate chip cookies. ????
First time here, staff is great & the place is very clean. We decided to order food—ribeye sandwich—definitely was not ribeye. I think it was a brisket cut. The sandwich overall was okay but the meat was just a bit dry.
We've stopped multiple times on our way to Houston but finally tried the BBQ. I'm mad at us for not doing it sooner! The gentleman that took our order (I'm awful with names but he had gages in his ears) was so polite and helpful. Food was AMAZING!!! We'd always stop and grab drinks and snacks, but definitely making sure we get BBQ every time now. And their bathrooms are always super clean!!!
The meats are delicious! I got quail wrapped in bacon and it was outstanding. The sides are ok and this is what I didn’t give a 5-stars for food. The amount of smoked products they offer is truly amazing! great spot to stop for lunch. They have take-out or dine-in. I really recommend Woody’s.
I’m glad I just got 50 gallons instead of topping off. I can’t even get a receipt for the fuel. Never cared for this place anyway and less now. I won’t be back.
Such a cool find for us on a very long drive. There was so much to see and buy in this little themed place. There was plenty of parking even though there were quite a few people in the store. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food selection (packaged and fresh) was exceptional and of good value. The bathrooms were very good and clean. Lighting in the store was great. Drink selections were very good and adequately priced compared to the region. We will be stopping in every time we travel this route!
