This place is awesome they really have everything you need for the rd!
The Bacon wrap Quail are delicious the best thing on the menu! The Beans are fresh and actually good, the jalapeño sausage are delicious , you can really taste the flavors and is spicy enough to enjoy it! The pork Ribs and BBQ sauce are pretty average nothing special about it! They else have lots of options for dessert, I choose the homemade fudge, the root beer fudge was too sweet for my taste, but the Bayou Goo is a delicacy! Totally recommend this place very clean and the staff are very friendly, right off the freeway ! Ohh plenty of parking for 18 wheelers
This is one of my favorite stops between Houston and Dallas. Being right around the half way point makes it a great stop for gas and a restroom. I enjoy the wide selection of canned goods, smoked meats and sweet treats available.
The fuel center is easy to use with clearly original parts. You can be confident there is not a skimmer attached and the restroom is always clean in the ten years I have visited.
Make this a stop on your drive!
Okay I was a little skeptical at first. I didn't really expect much from the experience. But let me tell you the brisket is a mouth full of flavor! The ribs are great. Macaroni is okay but my fav is the brisket! The smoke ring is amazing. It's almost candy flavored. Budan is amazing! I got the jalapeno one! Does not disappoint!
You need to stop here if you’re in the area. The smell of candles, sweets and bbq is amazing!! The restaurant is really cool looking, very exotic dining chairs and tables. Bbq sandwiches are very tasty and for $10 you’ll get a sandwich and beans. Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere.

Great Texas stopping point, since 1978. BBQ, snacks, baked desserts, meat products that you take home and cook later, etc... They have it. See all the photos. I tend not to criticize the state of the public restrooms because being a trucker, I'm just grateful that they are there. ALSO, TRUCKERS: They have a small area for us. It's a little crazy because its up a big hill, but like with the public restrooms, Im just happy its there. ???? Thank you to the owners for including us! ???????????????????? For car drivers, there are a lot of pumps in the front.
I never have the time to stop. Today's visit was well worth an hour lunch!
1/2 pound of brisket, beans, and sweet tea. The meat falls apart tender with a great bark, the beans just like grandma's.

This place is clean and cute. The restroom is pretty clean. The employees are nice.
We bought 3 items at the store, bacon, five amigos fire roasted pepper salsa and beef jerky. They are all Woody’s Smokehouse products. None of them tasted good. Very disappointing.
The jerky is bland. Bacon is bland and it has thick skin. We threw away most of them. The salsa is way too salty to enjoy.
