Angie was our waitress and she was a delight! Her bright welcoming personality,l was great along with being super attentive and sweet we really appreciated her. Our pea girl ( wink ) also Mike coming to our table and greeting us, as the owner I find it humbling that he took time to stop by the table and ask us how we liked our food and being very welcoming. The food was great! The onion rings
are delicious and we all ordered a variety of foods and all were super tasty. My friends and I gathered for our weekly small group and we decided to check this place out because our friend goes there frequently and Woodys did not disappoint. So many different variety’s of food and the customer service was expectational. Thank you for making us all feel welcomed.
Nice restaurant brings you back to the old days of sun and surf with it's lovely decor. Surfboards and swimming galore. My son had a hamburger with garlic fries. The garlic was really strong smelling. Good thing I wasn't eating it. I had a club sandwich with steak fries. I guess it took a little bit to get me my sandwich because the bread was pretty hard when it arrived. Other than that my first time experience at Woody's was good.
Great restaurant located off of Barton Rd west of mt Vernon.. I enjoyed a Philly sandwich which had pepper jack cheese, onions, bell pepper, mushrooms, jalapeños with some steak fries. Can’t forget the ajíes dipping sauce it comes with to dip your sandwich. The bread was a perfect crisp and softness to it.. chicken tortilla soup was amazing as well. They also have coffee cake which was some of the best I’ve tried out there at local diners.. not to mention our waiter was on point with everything. Truly enjoyed a well rounded experience. Jim is an awesome person and waiter. I’m definitely coming back!! When you’re in the area stop on by as well
First time here, but I'm not impressed. Our server seemed Iike he didn't want to be there. He took our drink order, I ordered orange juice and water's. My wife ordered coffee, he asked her if she wanted creamer, her answer yes. Water and OJ arrived, no coffee. He came back to take our order. The wife says she will take the oatmeal, and coffee. He asks if she would like creamer again yes. I ordered. Food comes, and he asks would you like jelly for the bread? I said yes, and her coffee please. He looks at her and asks about creamer again. The food could have had more flavor. We saw a young man walk right paste us with spray in one hand and a toilet brush in the other. People don't want to see that when they are eating. Please get a cleaning tote. A lady comes up and asks if we can switch out the condiment holder with her. Could this not wait until you cleaned the table? Maybe yelling at each other twice that an order was up is normal, but since this was our first time there, we don't know. We heard a young man say to his table how was everything? If you were pleased, please help us by leaving a great yelp review. Our server seemed to have had a surge of energy when it was time to pay. He said, "How was everything?" The wife says ok. Needless to say, he didn't finish the sentence about the yelp review.
Absolutely loved everything about this place! Welcoming, fun environment. Excellent hostess and waitress. Cushioned seating. Delicious breakfast with generous portions at reasonable prices. Highly recommend the Chicken Fried Steak. Quick to refill fountain drinks, water and coffee. Conveniently located off the freeway with ample parking. Thank you so much!
One of the few 50's & 60's style diners that is island themed. I love the coffee here it is amazing by itself.
My server JIM was courteous and promt. He made the whole experience astounding.
The Chili verde bowl was a first for me for breakfast meal. It is suprisingly delicious and filling, served with choice of flour or corn tortillas. I would come back here for other meals and for the experience.

This was my first time here and I was super impressed by the food, quick service and the generosity shown to me. Wendy is a professional at her craft, count your self lucky if she is your waiter.
Cannot wait to be back for another club sandwich. Don't forget to try the coffee cake.
