If you sit at the bar, you will become Benjamin Buttons and feel like you are aging backward in time. The bar stools are way too short for the bar therefore its like sitting in a child's high chair with the eating tray at nose level. It's not the best position when eating at the BAR. Bar maid was friendly and quick with service. Thank you, Thea.
When I arrived here there was only one cashier was trying to a line of guest and about 5 people bagging up the food. When I received my order I checked it right there on the spot and I ordered coleslaw and baked beans and greens let me tell you I opened up the coleslaw it smelt foul spoiled I told the lady behind the counter she rolled her eye and I asked for more beans instead she didn't try to smell the coleslaw she just gave it back to the cook she didn't apologize for giving me spoiled food. The greens were old and dry looking but my friend greens looked better than mine. So the sides are prepacked and not fresh the sides were old food nothing is cooked fresh the barbecue ribs were old not fresh at all the chicken sausage my friend had was spoiled she spit it out the barbecue chicken was tough hard to bite into. This whole experience was trash I hated there and it cost me almost 40 dollars I hope the owner check the food expiration time why are they selling old spoiled food this was a horrible experience I just prayed I didn't get sick ???????? I rate this place a 0!! You smell the smoke when you driving by only to be getting old food.
The Restaurant has been closed and now back open. Looks very nice inside. Food is still delicious. I had slice beef sandwich with a rib tip sandwich mixed sauce and barbecue chicken sandwich. Everything was was delicious. My family was happy, I’m so glad they’ve reopened.
My hubby loves their ribs!! I used my "ME" time, and drove from Riverside for these Ribs, I conversed with a very pleasant cashier, I had already told her, I was on the freeway driving from Riverside. My food was ready, my hubby is happy as heck. And what we don't eat, we'll freeze! I bought extra sauce, it'll taste just good. Thanks Woodys, I'm glad your store is back in business.
Went to the one on Florence. I appreciate it the renovations and it made for a nice waiting area. There is no dining service. Reasonably quick. I had the rib dinner that comes with two sides I had coleslaw and beans for both absolutely delicious. I really wanted the macaroni and cheese which does not come as a side and cost $5 for a teeny tiny container. So I passed on it????. Always nice to support a tradition.
I ordered the ribs dinner, they turned out to be one of the best bbq ribs I’ve ever had. I ordered the spicy bbq, I shared it with my family and I just kept hearing “this is so good.” I’ve been wanting to try bbq ribs and I found the spot for them. The lady at the front was really I’ve too, thank you. Don’t forget to look at their smoker oven, it is nice and the place looks newly renovated or something, because it just looks perfect. All food is to go, no seats but who cares, I eat them in my truck.
I've been eating at Woodys for years, and the BBQ has always been fresh, hot, and consistent in taste. I will continue to eat at this location.
They gave me half of a rib instead of whole ribs with my dinner .very disappointed. Been going to the one on slauson for years so I know what the ribs are supposed to look like and that is not it. I will not be back to this location.
