The salad bar was small but was great. Had watermelon, great potato salad and coleslaw, lots of salad toppings, and more. I had the chicken fajitas they were very tasty. She had an all meat omelet with fries she loved it, and she had an English muffin. They are currently under renovation. The bathrooms are going to be all new. Has the old diners look and feel. Elvis is there to great you along with betty boops ice cream bars and a couple more greeters. Nice tucked away diner at a truck stop. Recommend you try them.
First time stopping here. A great little place. 50s style ???? and good food and a bar.
This is NOT what you'd think of when you picture a classic 1950's diner. Lol. It's the end of an oversized gas station truck stop; with a decent bit for 1950's decor.
I assume the owners(All Latino staff) bought it this way? Oh well, I like tacos. ????
Yes, tacos and margaritas at at 50's diner. We've ate here several times for lunch and dinner on our trip this week. Nothing super special, nothing bad.
But definitely not the stereotypical 50's diner.
Great breakfast and a really good vintage vibe. My wife and I chose this place for a quick breakfast and we were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was and how great the service was. I highly recommend the meat lovers omelet. This was a favorite stop while traveling through town.
My waiter was awesome! He came out and took my drink order right away and came back with it and menu.... I ordered and had my food within 10 minutes. I was on my 30 minute break and it didn't take me much longer than that to get my food to eat get back out to my truck and take back off! What a cute little!
Our server was nice but the food was not good at all. We got three different plates and nothing had flavor. Felt like I wasn’t supposed to be eating what they gave me. I would not be coming back to eat here..
Very awesome nostalgic restaurant diner! This place is awesome has great food great service reasonable prices and the atmosphere is really something to see. They have a little bit of everything hamburgers dinner Mexican salad bar drinks milk shakes desserts. Nice place to park the truck and do a break. What I ordered was way more than I could ever eat. The service was exceptional very very good I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely be stopping back anytime I’m in area.
