Hubby and I came to Flagstaff for a quick getaway, and what a surprise! We LOVED the cute newly remodeled rooms on the Bed & Breakfast side. Staff was absolutely delightful and very accommodating. Breakfast cinnamon roll was delicious and the Mocha was wonderful. We are looking forward to returning for another visit soon. Also, close to shopping and restaurants, but out in the pines as well.
This my second time staying here as I enjoyed it so much the first time. It's beautifully wooded throughout the park with nice sites and freshly painted picnic tables. The bathrooms are clean and the showers have large shower heads and good water pressure. The managers, Heather and Chris, are friendly and helpful and I enjoyed speaking with them. They have a coffee and wine bar with a happy hour. I will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.
I highly recommend this campground. The check-in process is very organized and it was easy to find our campsite via the map they prepared for us. Campsites are tight, but beautiful between the tall pines. Be prepared to bring sugar water and your hummingbird feeders because the birds won't leave you alone and keep you entertained! The campground is located close to civilization so if you want to go into town its about 5 minutes away. The camp store is well stocked so if you forget something, you can grab it there. Can't wait to come back!
Quaint little park on historic Route 66 just to the West of Flagstaff. We had a one night stay on our way home, and this park worked well for that. Sites have 30amp power, water, sewer, hookups all worked as expected. Fires aren't allowed, though they rent propane fire rings. There is an area with grills and a smoker set up. Also showers and a laundry, though not centrally located. If we were staying longer, we'd have made reservations sooner for a better selection of sites. For this trip, our site (#69) was very small, and pretty sloped. Once we set up our 21' tear drop and parked our SUV, there wasn't really anywhere to set up chairs. Finally, there was a $35 fee to have the site we reserved held for us. Not sure what that was about, and for one night we didn't sweat it, but the net result was a $100/night fee, which is very high.
We very much enjoyed the hospitality at Woody! The staff were the biggest star of our stay! They are warm, helpful, and fun!
The coffee and wine bars, camp store, gift shop, and back patio are wonderful and are all tastefully designed.
The laundry was a definite plus and worked well.
Being there in July in mountain temps was a wonderful relief from our norm in steamy Texas.
Our lot required only a little tweaking to get level. The lot gave enough room without being crowded, but is not roomy.
The negative is the road and train noise. This was not problematic for us but it could be for some people.
We would enjoy staying again in the future.
The campground is amazing with big pine trees surrounding it. Bathroom and laundry room very clean!! Loved having the coffee espresso bar. Didn’t get to try wine tasting, but will next time. Office staff very nice!
The sights for campers were difficult to maneuver due to trees and power poles.Having maps to scale and be guided to the right road would have been helpful. We were not the only ones with this problem. The dry camping fees really high $66.00 one night. I was told they charge extra for weekends. Also I know it is written no refunds, but it was only 90 minutes and I needed to cancel the spot. We were there for the week, maybe take that in consideration. My kids had changed their minds coming up. A half of the fee would have been appreciated.
We stayed at the RV Park and the staff was amazing! We had a tow vehicle repair and they were so kind as to make it possible for us to stay in our site. Beautiful campground with super clean restrooms and laundry that is fairly priced! Horseshoe pits and a cute coffee and wine shop at the office.
Would definitely recommend stopping in, we would definitely stay again!
We love this campground! The wooded and cozy feel of the campground coupled with the proximity to downtown Flagstaff makes this the perfect place to stay! The owners are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed local wines and live music on the patio of the onsite wine bar over the weekend. What a treat! We will definitely stay here again.
