The sliced Brisket was very tender, tasty, and ample. Beans seemed canned and could use a little fixing up. I added some seasoning, and onions, to enhance the flavor. Service seemed a little slow, but they were very busy. Overall, very good experience ????
Really good Texas style smoked meats. The barbeque dinners and loaded baked potatoes are reasonably priced with above average portions. The relish bar is outstanding! The sweet pickled red onion is a must try!
It’s exactly what you want in BBQ place. Great brisket and ribs. Also had beans and potato salad. I went to the salad bar and added the sweet onions and it was perfect. Bonus: they gave me WiFi password and I stayed around and worked on computer stuff rest of afternoon. Super helpful. I will be back when I’m in Springtown.
We went to eat after the Christmas event and the woman at the counter looked like she hated her job but took our order. The friend my family was eating with ordered before us and got his order a few minutes later. We waited quite a while after he had finished eating to go check on the food and the cashier said give them five minutes. Obviously it wasn't even started. Then finally we got the order and it was missing food and my husband went in and the lady helping him didn't even answer him and checked the ticket to make sure he wasn't lying. At least the food was good, but we'll never be back.
Every time we have been here, there has been a problem whether we were picking up or having delivered. I ordered a potato and two 32 ounce unsweet teas. when I got my food, the potato was burnt black and hard and they put two empty 32 ounce Styrofoam cups in my bag. When I spoke to the DoorDash or he said it took forever to receive the order because they were busy watching TV. when I called them to let them know that they did not provide instruction to the Dasher to get the drinks or provide the drinks. I was immediately put on hold. Once they finally returned to the phone, I was told how it was not their responsibility the problem was the DoorDash or not getting the drinks himself. then after a one minute pause I was told I could drive up there myself and get a free drink if that’s really what I wanted and then I was hung up on.
Wonderful barbeque! It's the best place in the world for a giant stuffed and loaded baked potato! It takes me 3 meals to eat it all. My only disappointment is they only offer their tacos on Tuesdays.
This was my very first time at this restaurant... and I have to say the food did not disappoint. It's a finger food joint .. but you should know that because of BBQ in the name. My husband and I had the ribs, green beans, coleslaw, and onion rings. The sides were good but the ribs were great! The ribs were thick and meaty and I wouldn't be surprise if the meat was from a local farm/butcher as it was nothing like you would get at the supermarket. The BBQ sauce tasted homemade ... nothing like from a processed bottle.
I left out 1 star only because no one greeted us when we walked in and there were 3 staff members right there. I didn't know if I was supposed to wait to be seated or seat myself. After several minutes I had to ask how they do things there. Even after placing our order, there was no warm responses from the girl that took our order. The ribs and sauce definitely made up for the lack of customer service. The atmosphere was clean, well air-conditioned.. a house converted into a little whole in the wall eatery. it's worth another try.
First time trying this place, not worth $30 for two. Fries were beyond disguisting and Gun slinger sandwich, chopped beef had no flavor, very bland. Cashier was not friendly. Should've went to 3-W's, heck you can get a good chopped beef from Buc-ee's. Woody's must get their reviews from people who do do not what flavor is or worse pay for good reviews. Place sucks.. should not be called BBQ.
