Best WLM Reviews

When you step in the door, you honestly don’t expect much. However, from the first bite to the last you will be blown away by the quality of the food. The menu is pretty simple, but we throughly enjoyed everything we got. We even ordered desert, which is a rarity. I need to visit more often.
1st time here. Was a Saturday. Yummy drinks on special. Apps were great. Live music. Such a fun atmosphere. Ashlee was our bartender. She was fabulous!
Parking is tight, but the food is good. I was impressed with our waitress. She never wrote anything down and got everything right.
The Woodstock Inn Restaurant left a lot to be desired during my visit. To start, parking is a hassle — the lot is insufficient, and you have to cross a busy road just to get to the restaurant. Safety and convenience clearly weren’t priorities in this setup.
Inside, the atmosphere was tense due to a disruptive "Karen" who was going around taking stools from children. It was bizarre and uncomfortable for everyone.
As for the food, after the hour long wait, the $20 cheesesteak was an absolute joke. It seemed like they used ground beef instead of sliced steak, and there were no onions — despite being a basic ingredient for any decent cheesesteak. To make matters worse, it was nowhere near the advertised half-pound of meat.
They also forgot the fries I had upgraded to, which was another frustration. You have to order your food at the bar, which isn’t ideal, and it’s entirely self-service. Want water? You’ll have to buy bottled — no free tap water here.
To top it off, the entire outdoor area reeked of horse manure, making the experience even more unpleasant. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you enjoy overpaying for subpar food in a chaotic environment.
The need a manager that cares about the customer experience and quality control. The high end filets ordered all three cooked to wrong temp. Two med rare was med well and medium specifically asked for pink came out well inedible and was sent back. Guest basically ate alone. Asked waitress to ask manager to adjust check. No effort made and when asked to talk to manager was told he was sitting at the bar if we wanted to.
I've been coming here for years. Long before the outdoor area. Was always well known for the fairly simple menu that no matter what you ordered, it was delicious. Of course, things have changed. The menu has been updated along with the Inn. Menu is complex with a lot of great items to choose from. This visit we had the Crab Fries, I had the Smash Buurger, and the wife had the Bacon Cheeseburger ordered medium well. The Crab Fries didn't impress. Lots of cheese and no Crab to speak of. My Smash Burger delicious. I had no complaints. The Bacon Cheeseburger came out rare and dripping red juice, which the wife just doesn't care for. Sent it back, and it came back incinerated. Didn't complain. She just drowned it in A1 and lived with it. Waitress seemed attentive at first but seemed to lose interest after she brought the wife's burnt burger back. Finally, I had to get my tab from the bartender, who was equally inattentive. There was a lady trying to play Keno who waited through at least 2 games while he talked to another waitress. I finally got his attention so she could play her game, and I could pay my tab and leave. This was mid afternoon on a Saturday, and the place wasn't busy.
This is a cute place to grab a bite to eat and a drink. The atmosphere was really nice, both inside and out. Inside has a large bar, some tables and a couple pool tables. Lots of TVs; -typical country bar feel. The outside is lovely. There is a small stage for live music, many tables, and then some space in the lawn area for fire pits and corn hole. It's a casual dining place. Sounds like you can rent the outdoor area for an event, which would be a pretty spot. The service was great. Food was just okay, but enjoyable enough. We ate from the brunch menu.
Great spot to get a cocktail of beer or just a bite to eat. Service was exceptional. We had the brisket sandwich. So delicious and filling. More than enough for dinner. And the live band was even really really good.
