Best WLM Reviews

I came out this way to have a couple night solo getaway to clear my head in the mountains. I was so impressed by Woodstock Inn and Brewery, which was easily my favorite stay in in the NH Whites or VT Greens so far.||The accommodations were lovely. They made me think of a hybrid between a hotel and an airbnb. Check in at a normal hotel office and get a gate code for a cozy room in a house around the block, but with nice-hotel-grade housekeeping quality.||The brewpub was quite good, both in terms of food and its homemade beer, and the room charge included a terrific sit-down breakfast.||What impressed me most was the accumulation of hospitable little details that made for an inviting experience. The gate code set to correspond to your phone number so there's nothing to memorize; nice toiletries; nice meals on location. Most of these details disappeared from hospitality in the pandemic, and it's very rare to see them at any cost I can afford these days.
We ate here for dinner. The food was good. We started off with the fried pickles. If you haven't tried those yet, you must do so! Yummy ????. I had the Cobb salad with crispy bacon and gorgonzola cheese. The dressing was nice and thick, with lots of cheese chunks. ???? My son had an Impossible burger. He finished every bite! We ordered the chocolate stout mousse to go. It was good and hit the spot, but I think I prefer regular chocolate mousse. The atmosphere was great; it was an older place with many nooks and crannies. I highly recommend this restaurant!
I recently spent three nights at the Woodstock Inn Brewery and it was absolutely awesome! From the cozy (pretty small), well-appointed rooms to the delicious food and the stunning views, everything was perfect. The atmosphere is so welcoming, and it felt like a home away from home. Each meal was better than the last, with fresh ingredients and a great selection that catered to all tastes. The scenic views added a relaxing backdrop to our meals and evenings. I can't recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a charming getaway with top-notch amenities and friendly service. Definitely a must-visit in Woodstock!
Remarkable place. What a find. Fabulous value and great tasting food. Staff were so helpful and courteous. It's busy, so book ahead or go off-peak. Highly recommended. It's probably the best meal so far in 2024. The home baked banana pie is a must, but share only. Simply a great experience.
We only ate here so I can't speak to the rooms/inn, but the restaurant was nice. It's huge - there's a whole area in the front and then a huge bar in the back with live music on some nights. My boyfriend got the chili and loved it. We then both had pasta dishes - scampi & a chicken pesto one. Both were really good and huge portions. The drinks were okay - very average but I wasn't expecting pretty craft cocktails - basic drinks make sense for this kind of place. It took a while to get service but it was very busy and our waitress was nice.
Let's start with the beautiful atmosphere. Was up there a week ago after a fall foliage excursion. The place was hustling and bustling with locals and tourists ! Surrounded by an abundance of flowers that privatize the fun outdoor seating area. The outdoor seating area is available in winter as well with igloos that are heated. I sat indoors at the bar. The service was amazing, friendly, and efficient. The food is great. I started my meal with a hearty bowl of chili on a cool crisp Autumn Afternoon. Katie White and Nate are amazing.! The entire place is warm and cozy and Great !!!!
My husband and I stayed at the inn for two nights in November to celebrate his birthday. Everything was so great! The complimentary breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hotel or inn, the room was comfortable and clean, and the restaurant was delicious! We will be back!
We didn't stay here however we had dinner. The portion are large so bring your appetite. I had the meatloaf and it was so much food and it was quite tasty. The server was awesome. The only thing that needs some work was the hostess who was on her phone when we walked in and didn't even notice there were two couples waiting. Overall great dinner!
