After reading all the terrible reviews I thought I’d leave a positive review! Just like any AFFORDABLE hotel/motel there will be issues. Now me and my bf stayed here for 3 months (working in the area), we loved our stay very much. We stayed on the 2nd floor and it was very quiet and clean, now there was maybe 3-4x over the 3 month stay that we came across a little roach. I think it’s expected when you’re staying in a hotel with a kitchen. The people who stay there are very sweet and to themselves. All the loud music and ‘drugs’ was not something we experienced lol. Don’t let the negative reviews steer you away, super affordable, sweet staff, they don’t bother you unless of course you have a question. Over the time we stayed there, tons of updates were being added, laundry room on site, about 3-4 minutes from Walmart, and fast food! If you’re looking for a long term stay, I highly recommend. Your room will become your space so how clean you are will reflect in your space! I’d stay here again if we’re ever back in the area ????
One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at with management that clearly doesn't care about whether or not their customers are happy. If you stay here be prepared to have your phone rang and the door knocked on at 9:00 a.m. because the manager "has a job to do" and a "list" to make. And if that's not enough to discourage you, check out the photos of our room. There were definitely no roaches, because even they have limits. The only good thing I can say about this hotel is the water pressure was just strong enough to blow the bedbugs off of you that you just acquired. This was our first experience with woodspring suites and there will not be a second.
I do not advise staying here! When asking for a late check out I was not told it would be at 12noon. If I was told this I would have paid for an additional night the day I got there. The manager then refused to let me pay for another night because she did not like my attitude! Well if I woke you up in the middle of the night you would not be happy either! Manager wanted me out so bad that she had maintenance kick the door in and she was going to pack my stuff up for me! Now you would have thought I was trying to kill someone or even refuse to leave! Mind you I was leaving regardless as I work night shift at a local hospital in Tyler. The beds are not comfortable and they have roaches in the motel! I would highly recommend spending an extra 40 dollars or so a night and going to the candlewood suites! Much nicer place with lots of amenities. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE! Staff are ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!!! This place is not even worth a 1 star rating!
Horrible! They took my money and then said they were booked up! No customer service, no help. The curly haired girl behind the desk was so rude! I called to see availability 20 minutes before I got there and she said she had a double room. I get there and pay and then she said she can’t put me in that room! Trying to get info from corporate but no answers!
I don't even know where to begin. I made it in late. For $80 a night you would expect better. It was roaches the floor was dirty(the bottom of my feet were disgusting) I took my shoes off to walk to the bathroom. It was roaches. I am a traveling barber/stylist & cna. I stay at rooms when I'm booked. I had to rush to go get spray before my clients came. Also the elevator was dirty. The receptionist didn't tell us that we had to come get our clean towels. It was loud bumping dogs barking. No maam. Then if you're gona have a dog , just because it's friendly doesn't mean that the next person wants your dog rubbing all on then or licking their leg.
I Drove six hours in the rain, just To get there for her to tell me. They did not any longer have my reservation.
They have cockroachs, animals urinating in the hallways and was told the fourth floor is where all the drug dealers live and charge your card every two days when they've been paid in full in advance plus they steal your mail
The worst hotel experience so far! Initially the place was a little run down but nothing that made us want to leave. Then we got to the room. We were there for maybe an hour and had to leave. They have a no refund policy so we had to eat the $120. The first problem was the bath function was broken, so we could only take showers. Then we noticed the fridge wasn’t working either. Apparently they couldn’t move us to a different room and they couldn’t get ahold of maintenance. We were willing to make it work until we realized the A/C was also completely broken which meant no heat in a very cold room. There was no way we could have slept in the room with it getting down in the 30’s. Definitely recommend NOT staying here!!
