Best WLM Reviews
Amber and staff exceed expectations to see that guests are comfortable; I have been staying over a month. They deal with issues head on and are handled both fast and professionally. Remodeled rooms, BBQ pit outside and pet area w/bags! I recommend this Woodspring Suites whenever I can, as location alone can not be beat!
Hotel: Quiet, with guard security on foot all night
Rooms: Quiet and Private
Safety: I'm a woman and keep long working hours. I go out and smoke and have done laundry at 3 am. I always have felt safe.
The staff at the check in desk in the evening was incredibly friendly, and the woman in the morning helped me obtain information on something personal I needed without judgement or anything, and was really nice, so was the gentleman helping her check people in or out. The room was clean, full size fridge was nice and stove access. There's a bathtub, not just a shower. It was quiet too, aside from hearing walking I never heard anything else such as barking or talking/yelling. You do hear the highway constantly, but that's to be expected when the hotel is right next to it. It isn't obnoxiously loud. I would absolutely stay here again.
I was unable to find the motels phone number to book so I used a hotel booking site. There was no mention when booked about paying extra for my dog. I would have expected it up front but not when I arrived. I was charged $58 non refundable and an extra daily cost. When I explained that I wasn’t prepared for this they said that I should had booked it with them by phone. I explained that I was unable to do that. The room was clean but only one tiny bar of soap in the bathroom and one in the kitchenette. We brought back leftovers from a restaurant and when I went to cut them there were no utensils at all which is unusual for a suite. There was no breakfast which I guess some suites don’t have. I was unable to access the internet and when I tried to call the desk the room phone was dead. I called on my cell and was told the room phone was on the to do list and would be fixed on Friday. This was Wednesday. There was kind of a stale odor in the elevator. On the plus side the staff were friendly and the location was excellent. Restaurants nearby. A nice area to walk the dog and waste bags available. The room was clean but drab. When I booked I thought the price was reasonable but with all the add ons I’m not so sure. We booked 2 days to attend a funeral. Since that got over earlier than we thought we decided just to leave the afternoon of the 2nd day and not get our moneys worth. Just didn’t want to stay any longer.
The old man usually at the desk is rude and treats people like a nuisance. They look at anyone who enters the tiny front desk room as if they’re intruding. No refunds allowed for ANY reason. First time I went we had paid for multiple days and ended up leaving the first and cutting out losses because of the unjustified hostility. They literally interrogated and accused my 3 person group as if we were going to break the rules and they didn’t believe we wouldn’t. He seemed tempted to turn us away for seemingly no reason? One person I was with thought maybe the guy was racist; upon coming back without said person on a different occasion, I have determined the man at the front is just rude to everyone regardless of race.
Second time coming here was only because I didn’t hear the name of where the already booked hotel was. When we got there we immediately cut our losses and went somewhere else before even checking in. They act like they don’t want anyone there.
I travel for work and decided to stay here. Bad choice. There are bugs, roaches, and my floor always smelled like weed when I got home from work. Groups of people hanging out outside smoking and being loud at all hours of the day/night. It is in a good location with plenty of shopping and food, but you get what you pay for.
No hot water, the manager told me an employee's disability, manager said the hot water was fixed (it was not), constantly chasing down the manager if you can even find them or catch them on location, surprise pet fee, lying, inability to communicate and so much more. I cannot in good mind and faith recommend this location.
Room is cheapest I have ever stayed in. Flooring is coming apart and not even stuck to the ground. People are allowed to smoke in rooms. Smell through out the halls is nauseating. Paid almost $1700 for my time there to take out my own trash. Asked to pay if I wanted any utensils, cookware, or any other cups, bowls or plates. Something that is standard any other type of suit hotel. Pets bark non stop when people leave them in there room with nothing done about it. You have to pay for WiFi of any significance to do anything other than check your mail. Final topper is you have to pay for your whole stay up front so you can’t even decide to leave or you will be out your money. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COST!!!!!
no complaints. it was great. staff was wonderful. took care of me during full stay. id recommend to anyone.
