Do no book this hotel if you are arriving late at night!!
They left my family stranded at midnight after driving 15 hours from Montana. They failed to tell me that they would not be able to honor my reservation if I arrived after Midnight. I arrived at 12:05 AM.
I even called when I was passing Rapid City to tell them I would be arriving close to midnight. They said that was "no problem". It obviously was. They lied to me, and they'll lie to you too!
With my daughters crying in the SUV, I pulled into the Phillips 66 next to the hotel and called for hours looking for a hotel in the area. No hotels for 100 miles had vacancy. While I was doing this the Phillips 66 got robbed. I couldn't believe it. I felt like all of Sioux Falls was trying to kill my family. We left and I looked for a hotel while driving.
I finally found a hotel in in Sheldon, Iowa. At 3:00 AM, I finally got my family to safety. I'd been awake for 22 hours at that point, and felt like a complete failure as a father. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL if you're traveling with family or arriving late!
Absolutely horrible, the room smelled, no hot water, no water pressure, no towels, no shower curtain or pillow cases. The WiFi was hit or miss. The room was filthy it hadn't been cleaned in years. OMG THE COCKROACHES!!!! DISGUSTING!!! Go to the My places down the road, same price point and it's cleaner.
Payed a week in advance and when they decided to raise my rate by $100 a week after I had been their a month I changed my mind and checked out the next day but not after paying for the week. I’ve been waiting for my reimbursement for 10 days now after being told it would take 5 days. I keep getting the run around. My fridge was rusted and looked like they pulled it out of the dump, the bed was uncomfortable, Wi-Fi was nonexistent and my room smelled bad.
Very clean room and security is good. The frontdesk might not be there 24/7 but they always answer calls. Overall great experience
Staff was not available at the front desk for check in during office hours. Called from provided phone and line was busy. Called from cell phone and the gentleman answered and he showed up so we could check in. Gave us a handout with extensive property rules. Website shows pictures of rooms and property. The elevator was filthy and the room was nothing like the website pictures showed. Bed had odd colored sheets and very flat pillows. The place didn't seem safe and was very rundown and dirty so we did NOT stay the night. We would NOT recommend this location to anyone.
Not the worst..Definitely not the best. Could have been cleaner. Had hair in the shower, and a dead bug in my bed.
Positive: the room Negative: no coffee,no ice ,no breakfast ,wait 10 minutes for staff
Can't imagine staying here for an extended time. Hotel smelled but at least like Mexican (food) instead of curry. Stove was wonky (but worked). Fridge smelled so bad I would not even consider using it. Bed was horrible. Bar down the middle made it feel like sleeping on a 2x4.
Remote only half worked and luckily I know enough Spanish to be able to read the menu to find a channel to watch. Located at the end of a dead end street so a bit of a hassle getting to and out again.
Lightning was great. Heat/AC worked great. No complaints with staff.
