Best WLM Reviews
This hotel stay was a complete disaster from start to finish.
* Unfriendly and Unhelpful Staff: The check-in experience set the tone for the entire stay, with an unwelcoming staff member. The front desk was consistently unmanned, leaving guests waiting for assistance.
* Uncomfortable and Unclean Room: The bed was small and uncomfortable, and to make matters worse, the sheets had stains. There were no hand towels provided. When asked about switching out the sheets they told us we could strip the bed ourselves, bring down the sheets, get new ones AND pay them for it. Getting hand towels would also be at an additional cost the solution – completely unacceptable for a hotel stay.
* Noisy Environment: The street noise was incredibly loud, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
* Inflexible Cancellation Policy: Despite providing 2 days' notice, the hotel refused to refund the third night of our booking, showing a complete lack of flexibility and customer service.
Ultimately, we decided to cut our losses and leave after just one night. We forfeited the money spent on the remaining two nights and found another hotel because staying there even one more night was unbearable. This hotel is not recommended due to its poor service, uncomfortable accommodations, and inflexible policies.
Long term guest that would recommend anyone visiting the area to stay at this location. Katrina and staff are very friendly and keep the hotel in perfect condition. Plenty of storage for anyone needing a longer stay and would like to feel at home. The room was immaculate on check in and the cleaning services offered are excellent. The building is secured and in a great location for local restaurants and grocery stores.
No coffee maker or toaster. In 15 days I could get new linens and towels. I didn't receive any Choice points for my week stay even though I booked the room through them & had to listen to a sales pitch to buy more hotel stays. My trash I had to take to dumpster & provided my own trash bags. I did feel safe & the place was clean.
The staff was amazing and the rooms weren't unreasonable for the cost. The only downfall was being charged for additional items, such as pots/pans & dishes and having to wash our own towels and bedding. There was also no room service during our 9 days in town to clean the room, so I took it upon myself to sweep /mop the floors and sanitize the bathroom. Which if you know, cleaning supplies aren't the cheapest and it's not something I could fly back across county to home. At the end if the stay we were informed we could have opted in for an additional $3/day for laundry services.
Since the staff was very accommodating to my questions & concerns, poliet and very helpful, for that reason alone is why I rate the experience 4 stars.
This hotel is pretty noisy. It is on a very busy street. If you are assigned to a room on the first floor as what I get here, it would be a nightmare. It is like that you are sleeping directly on the street.
I complained to the front desk. they are kind of ruthless and they know their rooms are noisy. And they will not change the room or issue any refund. I asked multiple times and even ask expedia to help, but it does not work.
The front desk gave me two earplugs and asked me to insert the ear plugs deeply in the ears for my sleep. what a creative idea! For the first time in my life, I tried to wear earplugs for sleeping. So, if you are also interested in such kind of new experiences, this hotel is your choice.
I stayed at this hotel during an internship over the summer of 2022 and had an excellent experience. However, I'm not writing this review because of my stay.
There was a tax error in my wages for which I needed a detailed record of my time at this hotel—a little over 2 years since I stayed there. Not only was Katrina, the GM, extremely helpful and responsive, she was able to pull a detailed day-by-day record of my stay despite my old reservation being made on a legacy system.
I highly appreciate the efforts undergone by Katrina and her staff to obtain this, despite my not being a current guest. I recommend this location to anyone needing a place in the Seattle Redmond area!
Truly horrible experience.
Worst front end staff I have ever encountered at any hotel I have stayed in.
I'm a pretty easy going person however during check in, the woman working in the front end seemed honestly spiteful towards me.
I wanted to leave after this because she made me so uncomfortable however I saw online many people have not been able to get a refund if they try and check out so ended up staying.
The room was an old bed frame, dirty furniture, and walls that were so thin I could hear the person next door snoring every night/every minor conversation.
On the last day the front desk woman started calling me at 1030 am to make sure I was awake and ready to check out at 1100.
I travel weekly for work and have never had any experience that remotely resembles this place.
Trust the other reviews on Google, they are not exaggerated; stay anywhere else.
Walls are extremely thin, you can hear all kinds of noises from next door and even from the floor above.
Definitely do not take even numbered rooms, these face the road and you can clearly hear every vehicle that passes by.
No toiletries of any kind are provided.
Also beware of phony charges. A few days after checkout, I noticed a charge called "Box-up Charge" on my final bill. I called the hotel to ask for details and they claim that it must be for some miscellaneous service that I used at the hotel and that they're unable to get me more information beyond that. Not sure how to react to that. In all my years of business travel, this is the first time I experienced something like that.
Not going back to this hotel for my next trip.
