We received the best service from the front desk staff from check in to check out. House keeping were very friendly and made us feel at home. Very clean rooms with friendly staff. Fantastic location also, so close to many stores and restaurants. Perfect location. Thank you for making our experience a delight.
If I could give a zero, I would!
Drive 2+ hours to get to the hotel and told that my room was overbooked. The front desk woman nonchalantly states “I cancelled your card” so you weren’t charged though. Like that makes a hell of a difference when you get somewhere after a long day with no where to let your family rest their heads. She continues to advise that a confirmation did me no good and that it’s not guaranteed, as it clearly didn’t do in this situation. There was nothing she did to try and help me find another hotel close by… just a “sorry” and hope it all works out.
The hotel itself smelled of marijuana and I can only believe that everything happens for a reason, I guess you get what you pay for. I paid double up the street but didn’t feel as though I had to sleep with one eye open. I’m ok that we didn’t stay there however, a reservation with confirmation is supposed to guarantee you a room. The audacity of the front desk woman and the excuses given was unacceptable. I can assure you I would not recommend this establishment to anyone, you’d probably be better off sleeping in your car.
The staff is awesome they showed my family hospitality and made us feel welcome. On vacation this is the first time staying at Woodspring Suites. The room was very clean and smelled good Karen, Tay,and Nicole and other employees was so polite and helpful with assisting my family. We had a wonderful experience and will be sure to book with Woodspring Suites again in the Future. We were very pleased and comfortable by the way the Wi-Fi worked great for me and my family we were surprised !!!! Thanks again for an amazing vacation stay.
I was extremely impressed with this place from the moment that I walked in the door. The room size is very nice. The cleanliness is top notch. I would let anyone know about this hotel with no reservation. Being so close to the interstate really helps as well.
Estella started off great, but ended with a daily attitude. Why? I guess the people/guests are hard to deal with. Deanna and Tae are wonderful! I never had a bad experience with either one of them. Todd, the manager, was nice and professional. When he was around things worked better. I'm African American so when I tell you that this hotel is Ghetto, please know that it is. I never lived in the Ghetto, but my friends worked me. So... I would advise a better place for your get away. I had people bumping over top of me, and when I complained it got worse and much louder. I asked to move, but they said that they couldn't allow it. Does my money mean anything? Why didn't I at least receive a discount for my inconveniences? Nothing. Never again. Never!!! Oh and the back door kept stop working. Why? I had to walk around the building to get in. Then the machine that makes keys stopped working. I left. That was all I could stand.
I have been staying here almost 2 months now and I have to say the staff is amazing! They have been welcoming since day one and even keep a supply of dog treats on hand for your furry family member! The room was very clean when we arrived and the housekeeping staff is always willing to provide anything you need.
Good but rooms smell like cigars and we asked for people that don't smoke after all it was okay
As a veteran I have never seen a hotel that won't fix their elevator on weekends because it's expensive and inconvenience their guests for 72hrs ...! That's insane and poor customer service! But they have no problem taking your money and then refusing to service you without a real reason when others are squatting at the hotel and refuse to pay for their stay and have to be served eviction notices in order for the police to escort them out? Todd Hamilton is thee WORST property manager I've ever come across and he takes care of those that are passing through and treating the ones that are staying there long term inhumane and disrespectful! I used to be in the system as a "Valued Guest" due to the fact I spent over $3,000 to stay at Wood Springs Suites only to be asked to leave and that as a 10yr service veteran I'm no longer welcome there! Someone on the corporate level needs to address his daily operation and how he's treating long term paying customers.
Enclosing, don't waste your time staying at Wood Springs Suites Sanford.... Spend the extra money and stay elsewhere with class, and get treated with dignity, and respect! Not to include you'll get complimentary breakfast as well and no hassle room service daily!
