Stopped here for two nights while in San Antonio. Rooms were very clean, staff were very friendly and accommodating, and it felt super homey! Cindy and Noel were excellent! Would 100% stay here again. Highly recommend!
Stayed for 3 nights . Rooms and bathroom were clean. The beds were pretty firm . Hallways smelled like weed and cleaning products all 3 days. On the last night , the night I needed the best sleep as I had a 8 hr drive the next day the fire alarm went off at 3 am twice. Took about 5 -7 minutes to get turned off. I feel as though I should be credited one night . Safe location . Easy on/off from freeway . Indecisive on whether I would stay again.
I highly recommended WoodSpring Suites Stone Oak!! Cindy and her staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. Recent stay required an early check-in after a 10 hour drive. Top notch hospitality!!
We stayed in San Antonio to visit some friends and were skeptical of getting hotels in the area due to previous bad experiences. Let me tell you, this hotel is AMAZING—the price, the customer service, the rooms, and the amenities inside the room are well worth the cost. Everything was clean from the moment you entered that door, and the service you received was fantastic.
The only thing I would change/add is a blackout curtain to the room, but this place checked mark all the essential boxes on my list.
We will keep this location as our favorite for our next gateway in San Antonio.
Nice place to stay and pet friendly. It is always nice when we're not told anything about our dog being too big to stay with us. She is only 40 lbs. not like she is huge or barks.
I’ve stayed in MANY, MANY hotels around the country as I was a flight attendant and my family and I would go around the country on family vacations and this is by far one of the BEST hotels that I have EVER STAYED at! We have stayed here several times with my family and we LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! The management and staff are AMAZING!!! They are super kind, attentive, professional always want to help when you need it and we love how they really keep the hotel super clean and VERY WELL MAINTAINED!!! This is a rare jewel!!!!
All I'm going to say is BEWARE of this misleading 4.5 rating. Their good rating comes from them offering a discounted price if you give them a good rating and they verify it. Almost every guest is doing this. Yes it might be a convenience as far as money wise but the customer service and rudeness you have to put up with...Trust me it's not worth it. AND THEY HAVE ROACHES!!!
Yesterday, I received a distressing call from a young man suffering from PTSD. He informed me that his emotional support dog allegedly caused damage to the hotel where he has been staying for the past 8 months, paying $400 per week. Despite his arrangement to stay until Friday, he was abruptly told at 1 PM yesterday that he had to vacate the premises by 5 PM. Subsequently, the hotel staff locked his dog in the room by changing the lock and demanded $500 for damages in order to release the dog and his belongings. The individual in question has legal documentation for his dog and evidence of his condition. This situation has the potential to cause severe emotional distress and is unjust. I have advised him to seek legal counsel and consider reaching out to the news media to bring attention to this matter. It is imperative that such mistreatment is not overlooked.
