Know that if you book a last minute there are no changes or refunds. Ask to see your room before paying!!! I already paid up for the week upon checkin, so I’m screwed pretty much. I needed to request a room change because the room doesn’t have a safety latch on the door (solo female traveler and safety is a major concern) and the tub had some huge discolored mystery patch with dirt and hair in it!! I scrubbed and scrubbed and it’s still disgusting! There’s no front desk evenings and overnight. If you call, you’ll only reach someone on the “emergency line” and no one comes in to work the front desk til like 9am-5pm the dispatcher said when I called! Never heard of such! I stayed at another WS in the area and it was nice. This location was closer to my work site. Mistake!! Be mindful of what you’re getting: Basic extended stay room, no pots/pans/kitchen utensils provided, no ice machine anywhere, people leave piles of trash by the elevators or their doors. They do have at charge washers/dryers and a minimal gym. Could be nice with more room maintenance and cleanliness. The young lady that checked me in was pleasant. Also, given one price online and via phone and given another upon checkin. I don’t norm add pics but they’d claim I was lying if I didn’t.
Berry should not work here , There's so many complaints about him. I don’t know why Sam allows him to live here or work here. He was on call and the alarm going off for 30 to 45mins. He’s very rude and disrespectful. The other 2 lady do a great job and very helpful. He hangs up in people face. Just a aweful person.
Great staff. Newer hotel that is well maintained. Price is generally lower than others in the vicinity. It is not without the usual "issues" such as inconsiderate "guests" but adults that have no manners can not now acquire them apparently.
There are people in this place long term and have no consideration for others. The person in the room above mine stomps around non stop as if they weigh 700 pounds. Keeps moving furniture throws things on the hard wood floor. Also there were utility workers congregating by my 1st floor window talking and laughing loudly two nights in a row. Very basic services here. No soap or shampoo in the room. Blinds broken in my room. I wouldn’t recommend for a short vacation hotel.
Before my check-in, I was concerned about my plan to stay for one month. If I had another option, I would have canceled my reservations based on Google reviews. I am glad I didn't. Woodspring Suites in Round Rock is great if you need temporary housing. The manager runs a clean establishment. The employees are kind and respectful. Every person I have met who is staying here is mostly respectful. It is quiet at night. They beds are comfortable. There have been a few days when the smell on my floor was atrocious, but other than that, I have been very happy with my stay.
Last year, stayed here for some months with a relative and forgot to leave a review. While I don't know how much has changed, it was a decent hotel with a locking system that made me feel somewhat secure, plus exercise machines. Too bad there was horribly high pitched noises from the elevator(?) or washing machines(?), (I have abnormally sensitive ears) weed smell and bleach smell coming through vents, gunk in the shower drain that I had to remove, and a few other complaints. But all in all, was exactly what we needed at the time, (RIGHT next to storage!) and may have gotten better in my absence. ✨
The employees are loud and rude, the manager/owner is extremely rude. If you work night shift they have no one at night to pay or do they do automatic charge they call you until you wake up or bang in your door. Keys constantly don't work, you have to wait 30 minute for them to assist. On top of it they're rude and hang up because you woke them up not to mention plus there's a fee!!!! Smells like weed all day long. People chill outside with loud music. The owner has an excuse for every negative review.
The worst motel . No ice machines, only give two towels and one wash cloth for a double room. The manager said he needed 30 minutes to get dressed to let me in the door cause I work over night and they close office at 10pm. The employees are rude. Worst service I ever have gotten from a motel. Don't waste your money. They have no dishes in the room. No ice for drinks. This is horrible.
