Wost hotel ever. Reserved room for 4 and only two body towels and two wash clothes. We could go to the lobby to get two more body towels, but we weren't allowed anymore to make up for the no hand towels due to a towel shortage. No room service to bring it to us. Apparently, the lady in the office only likes men as my male family member went down to the office to ask for more towels and was given them. Couldn't have an extra blanket or sheet due to shortage. There is no fan in the bathroom, and it fogged up, of course. Had a useless kitchen with no pots and pans or silverware. No T.P. after the office closes around 5. The room phone didn't call the office. Oh, and no ICE was available as they said they didn't have a sanitized place for an ice machine. What hotel doesn't offer ice! This place was a total joke!!!
Great extended place to stay. The only issue was unaware that our kitchenette didn't have dishes or pots and pans. No coffee pot. You had to purchase it. Not a good idea for those traveling. Great room and location.
Positive: Located off I-80 Negative: Looked more like a long stay hotel than short stay. A bus was even dropping kids off from school. A lot of noise. Kids screaming and running in the hallways. Room was by a loud generator that kept going off all night. Wont be stay here again.
I've been staying at WoodSpring Suites in Sparks, Nevada, for years, during the air races and it continues to be my top choice for accommodation. The hotel consistently provides a clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced experience that is hard to beat. I will note I have always slept with ear plugs and eye mask so I do recommend that for light sleeprs.
One of the standout features of this hotel is its exceptional employees. Special mentions go to Dizzy and Jeanette, who always go above and beyond to ensure we have a pleasant stay. Their friendly demeanor makes all the difference, and they truly make you feel at home.
WoodSpring Suites is particularly geared towards people with longer stays, often working in the area. Despite the hardworking nature of the guests, everyone I've encountered has been friendly and considerate, contributing to a welcoming environment.
Overall, if you're looking for a reliable, comfortable, and well-maintained place at an unbeatable price, then this is your place
Location isn't bad, Reno is a nice town.
Service is absolute garbage, especially whoever that lady is working the night shift. The floors made my feet black and I had to wear shoes in the room. I will never stay here again if I can avoid it.
Alot of noise at this hotel. Kids screaming and running up and down the hall. It is more like an apartment than a hotel. A bunch of long term guest. A school bus even dropped kids off. I want be staying here again.
Book somewhere else! Not worth even $100 to stay there. CONS- horrible, not comfortable at all hard mattress, loud fridge, loud people in hotel, soap bar is like sandpaper, no breakfast, no lotion, slim toiletries. PROS- hot shower, clean room. CHEAPER PRICE, Welcoming Staff, Staff was very friendly. Great location. Wish I could get a discount or compensated for not satisfied charge.
Very friendly and helpful staff. When we walked into our room, we were hit with a horrendous Pine-sol smell. It was so strong that our eyes started to burn. The floor was sticky but not with dirt and grime but with undiluted Pin-sol. We had to open the windows and leave the room. When we came back later, the smell was still there but not as strong. We were on the bottom floor, and the windows didn't have any security measures on them, so we didn't feel keeping them open while we slept. Other than that, the room was OK. One thing I thought that was funny was that the hotel asked you to take out your own trash to the dumpster outside when checking out. ????????♂️
