Best WLM Reviews
Wish I could give fewer than one star. From start to finish my experience with this hotel was awful. From the first moment you enter this establishment the smell is overwhelming. The best way to describe it is 20 year old mold that has been feeding off the water that drips from 100 A/C units that have never been cleaned. Even the air vents in the lobby had water stains. You can smell it outside, in the hallways, and in the rooms. The smell is overwhelming.
Once we got up to the room it did not get better. Our refrigerator barely worked, the whole room smelled like mildew, the sheets were stained, and it was obvious that the counters had not been wiped down for quite some time. There were multiple places on the wall where a water leak made its way between the wall and the paint. When I took a shower here the fire alarm went off. And didn't go off for 20 minutes after I exited the shower. When we went to the front desk to have them turn it off and they said all we could do was blast the A/C.
The final straw that broke the camel's back was theft. After leaving the hotel I realized I no longer had my airpods on me. I checked the location on them and they were still at the hotel. I called the hotel and after an exhaustive search (I checked the room and asked if anyone took them) they told me I was out of luck. Shortly after they started heading south and the location turned off. To which I was told that was impossible by one of the employees here. After asking them to confront the employee they told me there was nothing they could do since all their housekeepers are from a temp agency and it is my word against theirs.
This whole building is a roach infested respiratory infection waiting to happen. Any inspector in their right mind would consider this building unfit to live in. All housekeepers interested in working at a place that will let you steal as you see fit please apply here. I can guarantee there will be no consequences. I would be embarrassed if I owned this property due to its current state
The worst extended stay ever! The management is a joke. The guy at the front desk Mark was very disrespectful and hateful. I reported the incident to Kirk and nothing was done at all. The place looks like it’s been neglected for years and the cigarette smell reek through the entire hotel which is harmful for asthmatics. The landscape looks dead and very dry. I have never been to a hotel that they allow employees to use profanity towards the guests.
I’ve never reviewed a place before, but feel the need to with this place. The front desk staff were extremely kind, very friendly and polite, however, once in the hallway there was a smell that was atrocious. Once we walked into the room, there were other ppls belongings still in there, our shoes were sticking to the floor, the smell in the room, however not the same as the hall was just as bad! We were literally in the room for 3 minutes before I said let’s go! I’m on a tight budget but was ok losing my money! Fortunately the gentleman at the front saw us walking out just after checking in and I explained to him the situation, he apologized and said he’d refund my money. As we were leaving there was another guest on her phone telling someone there were bugs in her room and she didn’t want to stay there either. I did not realize it was an extended stay place, I’m not sure if that makes a difference on the cleaning situation, but upon arriving at our new hotel, (very late) myself and my daughter showered before going to bed as we felt filthy after just being in that other room. Pictures are false! It does not look anything like them!
The room is spacious because it is an extended stay. I wanted the amenities of a kitchenette which it has. Not far from the airport or diwntown. Other than that, it was a mess! It was clean, but the smell of marijuana and cigarettes throughout the building gave me a headache! Even though it's supposedly smoke free. The front desk staff is unprofessional and seems uninterested in helping people. The crowd of people here are transient, some are very shady and there's no security! Also, on the 1st night while I was at the grocery store someone had clearly been in my room because my clothing and underwear had been tampered with nothing was missing but the water bottle I had looked like something was in it as well so I poured it out. I don't recommend this place if you're looking for safety and cleanliness. Pay the extra money and stay elsewhere. I would've left but was only in town for 2 days them back home, otherwise I would've left. Horrible environment!
To start off, the photos on their website are VERY deceiving. They are NOTHING like that and the best way to describe my experience is disgusting. You get what you pay for and it was too bad for us to sleep in. The front desk clerk was flirting with other customers, waited for nearly 20 minutes to check in. He was too busy flirting instead of helping us. We drove 14 hours for this god awful hotel. We get in our room, there is half a roll of used toilet paper, 15-20 pieces of hair on the sheets, and a giant hole in our bathroom door from someone punching the door. Everything was dingy and old. I did not feel comfortable sitting on the toilet seat which was covered in piss and hair. I instantly left and received a refund. ZERO professionalism with the front end clerk. The hallways smell like weed, mold, and cigarettes. We were told to “stay off the 3rd floor because that’s where the trouble is” from the front clerk. This hotel felt like a homeless shelter or government housing for the homeless. Very sketchy and nasty. DO NOT STAY HERE
Location was quiet and a nice view of nature. Rooms are like your usual hotel rooms. I wanna shout out to Rowena, who helped us so much during our stay. Thanks for everything!
The hotel was clean. Temperatures were easily adjusted. It is an extended stay so be prepared to stay at a place where some people might be there for extended period of time. Understand that extended a tract to certain crowd of people. Washes and driers on site. The vending machine was empty. The staff was very welcoming. It’s close proximity to restaurants, restaurants.
Lady at the front Rowena was really nice and helpful. The location was pretty quite except for the fireworks but it was 4th of july weekend. The only thing it didnt had was a bar of soap. The location is close to the airport so that was a win win.
