Best WLM Reviews
My stay at the Woodspring Suites in Missoula Montana was so relaxing and peaceful. All the staff are very friendly and professional. The rooms are very clean and have a simple and luxurious feel to them. The kitchen is amazing and makes it so we didn't have to break the bank eating out three times a day for over a month. We got the room with the king size bed that also has a couch that folds out into a bed that worked perfect for my 17 year old. The option to have a second bed but be able to put it away to make room for school projects is a plus. The General Manager Zorah Williams is absolutely the most professional and nicest person and made us feel at home and answered all our questions. Wash and dryer room on site and very cheap compared to Laundromat in the area. I had such a peaceful stay here and highly recommend this place.
By myself w/ one nice dog, moving and just want a good night sleep. Made a quick reservation on a site- "reserve now, pay later". For simply spending one night, the $115 was to me, expensive, but I was too tired to do much searching. The desk clerk and manager looking over her shoulder informed me a night with my pet would cost an extra $50. That was too expensive for me - I politely told them I'd have to go and find another room at another motel, which I did. I stayed at Motel 6. I did NOT sign any of the paperwork or provide another credit card as asked. This place was not crowded- very few people around. I was later surprised to find they charged my debit card from the website for the room!!! Yikes. What in the world??? I am very unhappy about this. I wonder what additional charges would have accrued had I spent the night?
Reserved a room on a site because of location and exhaustion from moving - I made a mistake. I admit it. I reserved a room quickly online estimating the time I would need a room in Missoula. At $120+ it was over my budget and this is not a fancy motel. The lobby looked basic and clean. It was not busy. Very few people were about. At the front desk I was given paperwork and asked for a credit card (my reservation was a "reserve now, pay later" deal). The clerk and manager looking over her shoulder, informed me it would cost extra- $50 to have my dog spend one night. Just sleeping and leaving - clean, quiet dog. Come on. I told them it was too expensive for me and I would need to get another motel room somewhere else and I left. I signed nothing, did not pay, and I did not give them a credit card as requested. My debit card from the site was charged full price anyway!!! Yikes. Who knows what extra charges would have shown up if I had actually stayed. Very unhappy.
Thought we'd give this place a try. It looked updated and the prices were good. I should have read the reviews before booking as the lowest we're absolutely correct. We walked in and it seemed a bit weird as there where locked doors between the lobby and elevator/ room access. The lobby smelt fine but once you cross into the living area it had such a weird smell. Almost gagging you. The room looked clean but the towels and sheets just didn't have that hotel smell. There was. Partially used shampoo and one bar of soap in the bathroom with NO blow dryer. They was still a cleaning cart in the hallway and it was 9 pm. That is odd. The bed was the most uncomfortable one I have ever slept on. Just in case you do decide to stay here bring a rug as walking on cold tile is not good in the middle of the night. Sorry to say we will it go back.
PS the offer coffee from 4am to noon. I guess I expect it to be slightly better.
Excellent place for extended stay. Great location. So close to everything you need. Rooms have a Stove, fridge and microwave. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I had a problem with my fridge and it was replaced right away. Hopefully I will have the opportunity to stay here again. It was tough leaving.
Really great staff working here. They care about the property and upkeep it nicely. The common areas are clean. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and respectful. This is a hotel for longer stays and there are some people that are there for a long time. This is a no frills hotel, you get the bare minimum. They pass the savings on to you. They only clean the room once every 14 days but you save $80 a night over neighbouring hotels. So it’s worth it.
Fantastic staff, excellent customer service. The staff is always smiling and helpful. They appreciate their jobs and it shows. The rooms are in excellent condition, new, and spacious with a full-sized fridge and two stovetop burners, and a large microwave. I've been here as a traveling nurse and I've been very pleased with WoodSprings Suites and their exceptional manager Zorah! She's gone above and beyond to accommodate me. It's also in walking distance to tons of restaurants, and it's the best price in town compared to other Suites!
If you're looking for a cheap, extended stay hotel that's in good shape with caring staff, look no further! The people are awesome, and a week or longer stay makes the prices incomparable to other sites. However, know what you're paying for. To make it cheaper, a lot of things standard to most hotels are not standard here, making it the "Spirit Airlines" of hotels. First, rooms are not cleaned in between days during your stay, which I think helps keep the cost down. Second, everything beyond the very basic needs costs extra. Third, the basic internet that's free has a speed of 1.6 mbps according to two different speed tests on my devices, which is fine for basic functions. If you want faster Internet, like something capable of streaming, you will pay $1-2 a day. There is no breakfast at this hotel, only free coffee in the lobby. If you know what you're paying for, this is a pleasant hotel that's mostly quiet and well cleaned upon arrival. If you're staying for less than a week and looking for a hotel that's a typical hotel experience, there's lots of great options nearby. Overall a pleasant stay with great staff. If I have another long trip to Missoula I would stay again, but a shorter trip I would likely look elsewhere unless either more amenities are offered or shorter stay prices are lowered.
