The worst Hotel I have ever been at. Even I had a reservation they did not care and let me with all my family at 11pm alone. It was good booked with Expidia because the solved our problem sending us to Holiday Inn. I would never recommend this Hotel. The person that was at front desk that night was nasty. The hotel room smelled awful!! You know you walk in somewhere and it stinks of cheap cleaning products and you’re just waiting for the smell they tried to cover up to come back out?? It did it smelled like piss and sweat not only in the hotel room they have us but all throughout the hotel. Staff was extremely unfriendly but was delighted to let us know when we were checking in that the elevator broke and they have our room away and our making us stay on the fourth floor and we have to take the stairs.
You’d think they would use the 500$ I gave them and the dozens of other guests money to fix the elevator immediately? But no! That would make too much sense.
The shower water has no control or stopper so no matter where you put the lever and expect the water to not be as hot it will just continue to get hotter and hotter and hotter. There’s also no bath mat and no curtain to stop the water from coming out so water just spoils out of the shower and there’s nothing you can do.
The bed was uncomfortable and squeaky and the walls are as thick as a piece of paper.
I wish I could say one thing positive but there’s literally nothing I went to the drink machine to try and get one and inside the pineapple Fanta picture was(and im NOT exaggerating) at least 100 dead mosquitos.
We end up leaving early and we try to call because they shut the lobby down but are suppose to stay down there in case someone checks in through the night, but they don’t pick up so we go down to the lobby and try calling through that phone. We hear it ring form the room they’re in and I literally hear them get up and silence it.
Do not stay here I beg of you.
No working elevators. Having my grandparents old people going up those stairs in the 3rd floor. Got assigned a room walk in and wasn’t clean had condoms in the floor everything used and sheets all over the place and also roaches in the bathroom no clean at all. Couch is scratched up this hotel is horrible don’t recommend. No breakfast Nothing.
Customer Service at the Hotel is the worse. The one Elevator the hotel has been broken off and on for more than a month. The staff doesn't care. Choice Hotels doesn't care either. Contacted the Fire Marshall and made a report. I will never recommend or stay at another Woodsprings Hotel and possibly no other Choice Hotels either.
Last year (2023) my family of three stayed here for a couple of days while we were having work on our house. When our house needed tenting for termites in July 2024, we made reservations for this hotel again well in advance. When my wife went to do the check-in on Independence Day, they told her that they see the reservation, but that they were totally booked and didn’t have a room for us. How in the world rooms overbooked for a hotel? There was no apology for this oversight. There was no offer to help us find other accommodations, considering this was very last-minute. They just shrugged their shoulders. We ended up having to go to the Springhill suites across the street. We paid a couple hundred dollars more overall for our stay, but the overall appearance of the hotel was a lot better than WoodSpring. Before this experience, we definitely would have continued patronizing this location. However,their lack of oversight, and they’re willingness to overbook their hotels, leaving customers having to search for a place at the last minute, something I would never tolerate from any place.
This hotel was clean with friendly staff. My friends were here from out of the country. To get towel and sheet changed you had to take your dirty ones to the front desk and request clean ones. You also had to take your trash out to the dumpster. Will not recommend this hotel.
If I could give a zero I would. No working elevator. I was placed on the 4th floor. I was only staying because I had closed on the sale of my home. No internet. It was dirty. I booked 3 night refunded after 1 night because I left.
My main problem is them lying on the ad for the hotel. It claims it is pet friendly and has an extra charge of $10 per night with a $50 deposit. Usually deposits are refunded as long as there is no damage. Once you arrive you are informed that the deposit is non refundable so really the extra charge for my dog was $60 for the night. Rooms are okay, elevator does not work, ladies checking you in are great. Management just sucks by lying on their ad. Will go out of my way not to stay at another one of their hotels.
