Best WLM Reviews
This place is a better than nothing type hotel. I came to check in late at night. A sign says the check in closes at 10:00 and to call a number from their in house phone. The phone rang 3 times in the office then it forwarded to a corporate number. I had to tell them which location I’m at, and they had to tell the employee to come check me in. The check in window had a roll down cover, and it stays down after hours, even though an employee is working there. It just doesn’t look very professional and very cold atmosphere. It reminds me of waiting at the probate office, very boring and bland. Then the facilities were dirty. The elevator has old pen marks, the walls and lights are all filthy. The kitchen counter in the room had a spot on it that I could scratch off with my nail, so they didn’t pay close attention to that at all. The bed is very mediocre. The cabinets above the stove had no doors on them. The room
has all spot lights, no lamp. No bed size available larger than a queen. Fitted sheet slides off as if it’s too small. This place needs major renovations and I think could use more staff. Even the hallway floors were filthy. There’s no hair dryer, only an iron upon request, no cooking utensils at all. The doors and walls have markings all over them that could easily be fixed with cleaning or repainting. I’m glad I was here with my family. If I were here alone, I would find a way to find another hotel and get money back. We’ve tried it but won’t be back.
I was there for just under 3 months. I'm a travel nurse. No problems with service. Housekeeping would come on certain days for each floor. You could exchange your dirty linen for clean. Full size refrigerator and 4 burner stove. All rooms are smoke-free. I could go on and on, but I won't.. If you have questions, I'll try to answer them..
I was just here for one night but it was obvious that the focus is on extended residential stays. There are two big differences from a standard motel. First, you have a small but real kitchen with a full-size refrigerator/freezer, two-burner electric stove, sink, and small microwave. However, there aren't any pans, dishes, or utensils so you do need to bring your own. The second difference is that everything is very spartan. The walls in the rooms and the hallways are plain and without decoration. No curtains on the windows, just wooden slat blinds. Minimal furniture. The only lighting is from bulbs in the ceiling. There's not even a lamp by the bed. The bed just had a simple white sheets and a white cover and they did not provide a towel. (I keep a few small blankets and two towels in my trunk, so no problem.) But everything was very clean and orderly and there were no odors. The floors are hard-surfaced, not carpeted (which means they are clean and don't retain odors.) The climate control system was quieter than most. The free WiFi was adequate for reading email and checking the news but slow for video. You can pay extra for higher speeds. If I were grading this place the same as motels, I would have to give it lower marks. But for what it is meant to be I think it deserves five-stars. It would be a very good place to stay if I needed a place here for a month or longer.
Stay away at all costs unless it is an emergency. This hotel is filthy from the public entrance, hallway floors, elevator, and doors right into the room. Phone, fridge, microwave, stove, and anything you touched is so dirty it must be months since they did a deep cleaning. Sheets poor quality and stained, bed wobbles, disgusting old blanket. Guests living in hotel hang out at every entrance smoking pot or hanging out in their car. No amenities. One key given. No instructions on wifi. Hadto pay for second device on wifi. Loud thin building you can hear all the guests above you. No cabinet doors on kitchen cabinets. No hair dryer or coffee pot. The absolute worst hotel I've ever stayed in.
Rooms are ok for effecency, parkin on the front and one side were wel lit. Staff was friendly. Small things here and there that needed to be fixed but nothing major. The hotel is smoke free but the entire 4th floor smelled like weed and had a haze towards the ceiling... Maybe that needs to be looked into ???? Probably woulnd't stay here again if we had other options but ok in a pinch
My husband had to go outta town for work last min. I made the reservation at 930 pm...called as soon as I made reservations to let front desk know he was going to arrive at 12-30 to 1 am. She told me that was fine for him to call the # on the phone when he arrives. As soon as he gets there he calls the number... waits for someone to come. Only for that person "desesha" to tell my husband that he cannot check in unless he pays for another night because he's checking in on a different day. LADY the room we booked is paid for till 11 am. It's currently 150 am. I've booked numerous hotels in my life &checked into quite a few really late....but I have never experienced such a money hungry ignorant business before. I'll call whoever I have to tomorrow...hotels are supposed to provide as much comfort as possible to the customer who's paying to stay at your establishment. Not squeeze every penny you can get. I don't see how you run your establishment this way.
The place is basic, clean, and gets the job done. Decent restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Ms. Tracy, a staff member, was always friendly and made my stay pleasant. I appreciated the warm service and convenient location, which made my trip easier.
Do you love the scent of, uh, 'herbal relaxation' in the morning? Look no further! This joint's got friendly staff, secure entrances, and a fourth floor and elevator that'll keep you feeling, well, elevated.
