Best WLM Reviews

We booked a couple of nights at this location to avoid driving into Hurricane Milton. As advertised this is a budget extended stay facility. The building is old and worn down but the staff do a pretty good job cleaning and maintaining it as best they can. Our room overall was clean and comfortable. We had the maintenance guy check the Direct TV box. He was professional and courteous. The Front Desk staff were courteous and helpful. We only spent one night and decided to head back home since Milton slowed down enough that we could beat it home. We asked the General Manager Angelica about refunding the nights we didn't stay. Angelica and her manager worked with us and we were refunded for the nights we didn't stay. Very much appreciated.
When we first arrived, there was a group of people sitting in the very small porch, walkway area, smoking, and braiding hair. They were having a great time and I loved that for them however, it was un expected to be greeted by loud group of people before entering a hotel door. Once we got inside, nobody was at the front desk and we waited a few minutes and somebody on the porch called out for Christopher to come inside. Christopher himself was amazing, very polite very professional very accommodating. He gets 10 out of 10 service. One thing that I am super big on is the cleanliness of a place especially a hotel. I used to clean for a living and so I’m very particular about where I’m going to lay my head down. from the moment that we walked in the floors were all discolored and sticky. There were a certain smell to the place, you could see smears or hands of touch the wall or any other surface for that matter. I think the place could definitely use a professional cleaning crew come in for about a week maybe two and give the place a really good deep clean and a pest control visit that it so needs, I think if it was a lot cleaner than what we experienced we would have stayed . There are lots of places to eat within walking distance. Christopher was the only staff that I saw in maybe the hour that we stayed. Thanks Chris for having us!
I am sharing my review because it was the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I would not have booked it my apartment complex booked because they’re cheap and that will be handled but when you get greeted, your customer service sucks. Had to wait an extra 15 minutes at 3:30. My room was not ready, I’m handicapped. They put me in a room with no chair just bed. It was disgusting. I was fighting off ants, big ants and bugs all night long. I felt like things were jumping on me to anybody that has any respect for themselves. Do not stay at this hotel at this location .
The hotel takes pride in upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, with regular deep cleaning routines and proactive measures to ensure guest safety and satisfaction. With its attention to detail and commitment to a spotless environment. The accommodating management of the hotel is dedicated to creating an exceptional guest experience, ensuring that each individual feels valued and well-cared for throughout their stay. From the moment guests arrive, the staff is warm and welcoming, ready to assist with any request, no matter how big or small. Whether it’s adjusting reservation details, providing insider tips about local attractions, or offering flexible check-in and check-out times, the staff goes above and beyond to exceed expectations.
I strongly advise anyone considering staying at this hotel to look elsewhere. The management’s disregard for basic cleanliness and customer service is shocking. This hotel could be considered a health hazard to some people, and I wouldn't wish my experience on anyone.
I recently booked a room at this hotel. Previously, I stayed at a significantly better WoodSpring Suites location across town. This hotel was, without a doubt, the most appalling experience I have ever had. Upon entering my room, I was immediately struck by the overwhelming filth and complete lack of cleanliness. It was clear that the room had not been cleaned since the previous guest's stay. There was food left in the fridge, trash on the floor and the bathroom was in a disgraceful state—filthy, unkempt, and clearly neglected by housekeeping.
The bed was even worse. Not only was it unmade, but it also had food crumbs and sauce scattered across it, and the sheets were visibly dirty. It was absolutely disgusting. The floors were filthy as well, covered in dirt and debris, I could feel the dirt beneath my shoes with each step I took. To make matters worse, the room was extremely hot and humid, making it nearly impossible to stay in there for more than a few minutes without feeling uncomfortable.
As if the state of the room wasn't bad enough, the hallways reeked of smoke, adding to the overall unpleasantness of the stay.
After discovering these issues, I immediately requested a refund and checked out.
However, despite the obvious and severe nature of these problems, the hotel management has been dragging their feet and taking an unreasonable amount of time to issue the refund and email me back. The lack of urgency and concern for their guests is absolutely unacceptable.
I loved my visit. The workers was nice especially the housekeepers Tay and Tracy. If I needed any extra towels or anything they was able to get it without no questions or hesitations. The front desk clerk was delightful. Early morning check in and she was able to go over any questions I had about my bill. The hotel manger was a delight as well? She made sure the workers was on top of things and she also made unpaid guest either pay or leave politely. She also made sure the people that was hanging around leave immediately. I definitely enjoyed my stay
This one is going to be a little longer than most of my reviews; as you read, you will understand why. As a Pastor/Evangelist, traveling and hotel stays are a part of my life. This was the major reason for my visit: Ministry in GA, a Funeral and what was supposed to be a mini vacation. I'll start by stating the customer service here was wonderful...Angelica and the crew. They were the brighter spot of the hotel visit. As the Host Church was not handling the lodging for this trip, I had to secure it myself. I found WoodSpring Suites, and the listed price was sufficient, the pictures looked appealing, and the location was centrally positioned for all needs.
However, after arriving, remorse kicked in. The first room: the door wouldn't stay closed: The second room already had a guest in it: Third room ended up being the winner. Only because this is a Non-Refundable hotel, did I stick it out. The first night I Lysol'ed the bed, and slept on top of the sheets. The very next morning, I went to Walmart and purchased cleaning supplies and a simple sheet set for me to sleep on. You should have a clear picture of my stay. It turned out not to be the after ministry & funeral, mini vacation I'd hoped for. You can't relax when you are watching everything around you. The final 'kicker' occurred on check out day: I watched house-keeping unlock my door, with the inside security lock engaged. I literally watched it dis-engage and turn before my eyes, as I was walking to the door.
The staff is great, but I cannot wholeheartedly recommend this place for general lodging needs. It works best as the transitional housing hotel that it is. Most of the residents of the hotel are either in the middle of moving or having home improvements done..etc. Wish I could say differently.
I book this as a one night stay with my fiance. I walked in and there was no one at the front desk. I called the number and no one answered. The person in front of us said they had been waiting 35 minutes and they had not seen anyone. The lobby was disgustingly dirty. We wait ten minutes and left and found somewhere else to stay. This was a horrible experience amd we did not even make it past the check in desk. I strongly recommend that if you never stay here it is nothing like the pictures online. We felt unsafe and there wasn't even a person to give a customer service rating to.
