Stayed here for months. Rooms are great, but the amount that management is all up in your business is a lottle much for me. Oh and ultimately, I was kicked out for smoking weed, but if you walk into that hotel, any given day of the week, night or day.... you smell nothing but weed. Management is too involved with the paying customers. Just because I had been there for a while, didn't mean it was cool for her to treat me like I was her kid.
This was our 4th 2 night stay at this motel due to continued medical procedures in Greenville. Jamaal and the staff have always been top notch and accommodating. When we checked in Sunday night, Jamaal showed us several different rooms and we decided on the one we wanted. This was a big mistake. We had very early appointments Monday and Tuesday mornings. We couldn't sleep either night. The room above us continued to bang on the floor the entire night. We brought this to management and we were informed that the room belonged to an employee and family. We were told Monday that this would be handled and we wouldn't experience this again. Monday night the front desk apologized and said they would handle this again. Once again, no sleep for us.
I don't think we were asking for too much when all we required was a couple of good night's sleep.
We had a reservation and we arrived on Saturday after storm, office was locked, people hanging out in parking lot. No power because of storm, they left and let everyone unattended that already was there. We had no communication that we were not going to have a place to stay. I had to go through the ringer to get a refund. Really poor communication. And if office was going to evacuate, then they should have made everyone else leave too. That is no way to do business under any circumstance.
The rooms aren’t the greatest maintained. Though they are still comfortable, clean, and secure. Quick access to the majority of the Greenville area as well. As for the staff, one stands out very acutely. Jamal is possibly the single kindest and most helpful person I have ever met. I’m ashamed to admit I was a bit rude to him when I first called to set up my reservation, but he handled it professionally and did not hold it against me when I checked in. Since staying here (2 months) any time I’ve needed something he’s the one I would talk to, and he always handles it quickly and efficiently. I would recommend the place to other traveling professionals like myself, however, don’t talk to management if you need something. Talk to Jamal or one of the other desk ladies.
While I was waiting for my apartment to open up and be ready! I had to stay here for a length of time and I picked a pretty good place even when it was last minute!
AMIRAH is my girl! She made my stay worth it, always professional and kind!❤️ I had absolutely no problems on the first floor and I had no problems with my room.
The reviews below with negative feed back. Bless y’all’s hearts! Sad to say but you could stay at the most expensive/luxury hotel and there still be bugs. It’s not always the workers or building it’s the people who bring it in with them and it’s not easy to get rid of. Don’t let the negative comments make you pass up a decent hotel/price.
Positive: Nothing Negative: Everything. Kitchen is a joke ( no kitchenware) beds more like a couch, bugs, lack of amenities, no breakfast or restaurant, only a vending machine
An alarm went off for over 5 hours. Started at 3 am and I ended up leaving at 8am since I couldn't go back to sleep. Fire department and police showed up but neither could resolve the issue. An employee was not around to resolve the issue either. Management never got back to me about this, reached out to corporate still awaiting a response 9 months later lol
Spoke with Amira and even though they were completely booked, she was extremely professional, friendly and very nice, would definitely recommend to family and friends.
