Best WLM Reviews
I needed a quick spot to stay while house was being worked on. I paid for a week but stayed 2 nights and just left. Been in pest control for almost a decade now. The absolute worst German roach infested place I have ever seen and that's including in my career. I informed them about it and they said they have Orkin out there and they treat and have it under control. I did laugh at the lady working there on that comment, letting her know that the smell in ALL hallways tells me otherwise. If you're reading this and thinking of staying there, and you walk inside to the front desk and can't place that odd smell, I will tell you exactly what that smell is. It's the pheromone oily secretion roaches use to act as a beacon for other roaches to come on over and join the infested place they are already ruling over. Do not stay here. I was more than happy to lose the money and just leave. German roaches will not be visible during the day so if you check in and read this and think to yourself nothing is there, wait until night time and all of your walls will start moving. Good luck and congrats to this being the most disgusting place I have ever been. The smell was in my nose for days after I left.
We immediately checked right back out. The building smelled and the elevator smelled like urine. There was also a sign on the door from the fire department stating the fire system was inoperable. When I asked what the issue was, the attendant down played it. When I decided to check out, the attendant didn’t ask why, she just rolled her eyes and took the room keys. I called the corporate office and they were not any help. After an extensive conversation, they did refund one night even though we didn’t stay any nights at the hotel. They have to do better.
Even after the reviews about the roaches, unprofessional staff and lack of general cleanliness, I still chose to reserve a double queen room. I booked an extra couple of days early to disinfect the space myself with bleaching everything and purchasing a professional grade roach spray only to find out that was the least of what was to become a horrendous experience. There was a queen and full sized bed of which I overpaid for, from one month to the next the rate increased to $48.32 despite booking my stay from Sept. 30th 24 to Dec 22 24 at a rate of
$43.32 daily. Then “it” started!!! Two employees identified as the maintenance guy and housekeeper (?) made an effort at 8:50pm to enter the room, thank goodness the security latch was on, regardless the shock of the door opening was enough to render the place unsafe. In addition from October 21, 2024 thru today December 10, 2024. Multiple attempts have been made to charge my credit card!!! Even though the hotel owes me $500.00.!!!! Look, book at your own risk, however if you have complaints file them with the following government agencies:
Better Business Bureau- bbb.org
Texas State Attorney General- Consumer Protection- https://www.texasattorneygeneral.gov/consumer-protection
AND
Federal Trade Commission- https://www.ftc.gov/about-ftc/bureaus-offices/bureau-consumer-protection
Finally, if you’ve experienced hotel staff entering your space without prior permission do this!

My dad is here in town for the weekend for my child’s bday. He got a room since he has two little girls he adopted.he reserved the room over a week and a half in advance. He stopped at my house to visit then headed to the hotel. Anna at the front desk refused him a room. States that even though he has a reservation if someone gets there first it does to them. So why have reservations in advance available? Never heard of such a thing that they’d allow you to book in advance and then give it away and tell you sorry we can’t someone else is now in the room you paid for in advance. He then had to come back to my house and he has to sleep on my couch and his two little girls on a blow up mattress. I don’t mind my dad staying with me but that is besides the point. I called and spoke to Anna at the front desk and asked is that the policy? We can book in advance and you can give it to whoever gets to the hotel before you? I said imagine if you went on vacation Anna, and booked in advance. Arrive at the hotel and get refused because they ran out of rooms? If this is a true policy it is stupid. I’ve never in my life heard of reserving but needing to get there before anyone else so I can get my room. Maybe my dad drove from far away? And just got in town? Does this seem like a fair or logical policy. Anna was rude on the phone. Didn’t care. When I asked her about it she just said yep and refused to allow me to speak to a manager. I will speak to a manager. And I hope no one reserves in advance here unless they arrive at 8am and wait for a room to be cleaned so they can instantly get it so they don’t give their reservation away !!!!!!! Absolutely ridiculous. Ridiculous. Oh sorry we have your reserved room away because someone showed up. What? Excuse me?
The little lady named SARAH at the front desk was very helpful and very kind she got me straightened out in my room didn't have a Ice tray And here came SARAH not within five minutes I had my ice tray. SARAH is one I would definitely keep in that front office. She is very polite very kind and knows her job well and knows how to speak to the public. She is a great asset to this hotel in my opinion.
I was driving from California to Florida. I was so tired . Went online and I saw this good deal clean nice area close to the highway gas stations, restaurants perfect. The worse experience ever I asked for queen bed non-smoke when I got there they give me twin beds smoke room their room was disgusting. The worst experience .. never been in a hotel in such as bad conditions.can you imagine there was 4 bags of garbage the smell was terrible everything was awful.. immediately went to receptionist, I asked for my money back they give me a bunch of excuses. I end up losing that money and getting a better hotel. I was lucky they were like five hotels near that area I learn my lessons. I will stick with the ones they’re more popular.
They have don’t nothing but cause problems with us when we have kept to our self’s. They have confused my husband with someone else when he asked for quaters because the laundry room says they will give them to u. So they yelled at him. They had a problem with us checking out the gym with our sleeping baby in a stroller when a sign says needs to be accompanied then she changed her story saying we don’t allow babies. They have all had attitudes. The 4th floor has people smoking weed all the time whenever there is a no smoking tolerance in this floor. And someone said this floor is the most dangerous with drug addicts and violent people but refuse to move our room. Don’t come here unless u want constant problems. They informed me house keeping is once a week then we ask for a mop and they cause issues saying no u have to pay for housekeeping which once again changed there story again. It’s a very horrible place to stay they are unprofessional and rude people
The experience I had at this location was absolutely horrific, the front desk woman was actually nice and helpful, that’s just about all the nice I can say about this place. The room was horrible and the smell I could get past just because I wanted to get out of the Texas heat. But that night all the roaches came out to play. I thought I was just seeing things but I got me flashlight and right there on the wall next to the bed were 6 roaches. I killed them then somewhat went to sleep until I felt something on my leg and it was a big roach. I stayed up the rest of the night killing roaches. The refrigerator looked like they got it out of the dumpster and just cleaned the inside. The bed linens were itchy and the mattress cover had stains on it. I just sat in the chair. I wouldn’t recommend this place to worst enemy…. Or maybe I would. Sleeping in my car would’ve been a better experience
