Walls and ceilings are paper thin. You can hear everything. No remote for TV. Then the wrong remote. Then no batteries. Exhaust fan in bathroom didn't work. For some reason the light in the bathroom is on a timer so halfway through your shower you are in the dark. Pillows are crazy thin. The bed was not stable but mattress was decent. Room was clean and staff was nice. Place needs many upgrades before I could ever recommend. Wasn't even affordable either. They are pet friendly so if you have pets there is that.
The only reason for 4 was a torn up chair in the room, no big deal, I left my suitcase on it. Otherwise it was a great stay for the price, only 10 minutes from wallaby ranch hang glider park which was the only reason I was there, a hang gliding vacation! Room was clean bed comfortable and nice sized shower, came with a kitchen and full size fridge but I didn't use anything except the fridge. All in all a good stay ????
Me and my wife have been here for a week so far and the staff have been so hospitable towards us. They have catered to our every need and have been amazing. The rooms are AMAZING and very clean. I also love the bedding. Shout out to the staff for everything they have done, and for their hospitality towards us! Keep up the great work :)
Worst hotel experience ever. I wish we had read all the negative reviews first. We booked in asking for a quiet room so we could sleep. Instead, we were given the room from hell. We listened to constant loud banging and yelling for 12 hours from 3 pm to 3 am. We called the front desk and they said the guy above us would not listen to them. And he and his kids were there long-term so they could not move him. And the clerk said she couldn’t move us to another room either. The hotel employees could have de-escalated this bad situation but as another reviewer said, the staff does not care about its guests and it was very obvious.
The excessive noise sounded like a basketball being tossed on the wooden floor and walls. Not surprisingly, other guests complained also. Nobody got any sleep. Police finally arrived to handle it. We were informed it was at least the second time they have been called out due to excessive noise at this hotel in recent weeks.
We did not get any sleep that night and we decided to leave after talking to the manager (Carlos) and getting a refund. We live in the area and we will tell everyone we know to avoid this hotel.
I don't like to leave negative reviews about businesses. This hotel is really nice, but the first room they gave us had bad air conditioning and there were cockroaches. The second room was better, but I kept seeing cockroaches. The staff is nice and when I complained, they resolved it quickly, but they need to be a little more careful in taking care of the rooms and avoiding the cockroach infestation.
. Not sure what my rating should be but I'm going to go ahead give it 5 stars solely because of the experience nychele provided. At first this stay wasn’t good at all. Im very particular about cleanliness and both rooms that i was given restrooms’ wasn’t to my liking. It wasn’t terrible but it was uncomfortable for me to have unfamiliar hair lying around the restroom. So not just the first room and the second room had it as well. But i also saw hair in other places like the freezer and fridge so i guess housekeeping had used the same rag to clean everything in the room which was a bit unsettling for me. I asked for the second rooms restroom i got to just be cleaned by housekeeping instead the whole 9 yards and/or getting a new room. The Caucasian woman at the front desk that was helping me the entire time told me she would ensure that my room gets cleaned i believe her name is faith. I leave then come back at 9pm to go back to my room just to see all the hair is still in the bathroom i asked to be clean which was very upsetting. But when i went back to the front desk faith wasn’t there i had the pleasure of having Nychele assist me this time around. She was so attentive and helpful. Not only did she get me a room that i thought was appropriate but she left the front desk to find that room and check it for me before giving it to me. On top of all that she ensured that for my trouble i’d get the first day i stayed free. I hope she is valued as an employee here at wood springs because of her not only my stay but my night was much better but she did some serious damage control on my approval of this place and my stay.
The hotel facilities are good. I took my kid with Autism 2 nights with me. He punched the tv breaking it. The hotel manager was so upset charging me $542.00. Being the manager and ex police that how he things about disabled people. I left the hotel one night before. My room was clean. He inspected the room himself.
Checking out on 09/01/24 a day before I paid. The manager is avoiding my phone calls and haven’t received the refund of that night. I stayed from 08/15/24 until 09/01/24
To all the parents with children on the spectrum or related disabilities don’t stay there. The manager was a police officer and doesn’t understand how to deal with special needs kids or parents. I started working but I’m waiting for the return since 09/01/24
Me and my family had to move here for two months while we looked for a place to live and the best thing about the hotel wasnt the hotel itself but the publix in walking distance and the pool at the apartment community behind the hotel. Whenever checking into a room i always pull back covers and look under mattress for bedbugs and although no bugs were found i did notice a huge pee spot and some blood at the end and the sheets also had stains everywhere. The manager came in to look and all he could offer was more "clean" sheets and a mattress protector. I think they need to invest in new mattresses and better mattress protectors. This hotel also has alot of people hanging out in parking lot at all hours of the night smoking pot and that looks horrible for a hotel.
