cockroaches!! They have them in the room/s!! The room that we got moved after in a different floor was "clean" but not all the way
The floor was dirty with mud and some dirt on the corners (as if trying to hide). The bathtub wasn't clean all the way, I had to clean it before I shower me and my kids. Also, so much noise on the other rooms and you can. Hear EVERYTHING from the room next door. Also, there were no people i. The front desk when we try to check in and/or check out. The lady who help us was awesome!!
They are pet friendly
They said, “You get what you pay for,” but in our case, we didn’t. We traveled to Dallas for a wedding, and because check-in wasn’t until 3 PM and the wedding started early, we decided to check in after the event. Since the room was prepaid, we didn’t think there would be an issue.
When we arrived late that night, we attempted to check in, but the hotel was closed. A woman in the lobby, sitting with an older lady, informed us that they were closed. When I told her we were there to check in, she said she didn’t think we would show up and that they no longer had any rooms available. She mentioned the only room left had a foul smell. She also stated that she was supposed to be off but she “stayed” waiting for us.
I asked why our room was given away, and she simply said it was because we didn’t arrive earlier. In the end, they didn’t have a room for us, so we had to find alternative accommodations and ended up sleeping in our cars.
Don’t book here!
The Bathroom Door Had A Hole in It my entire stay of 3 months. The halls and elevator always smelled horrible. Front desk always has an attitude. Manager pretends like she is going to fix things but never does. I would definitely stay away from this place. Full of drug addicts and felons. Loud music at night while you trying to sleep . They charge you one price when you book online and then they increase the rate every month . You might as well get an apartment. Not worth the trouble. Stay Away. Police are always there. Water comes In when it rains room smells like mold. I wish I could give Zero stars.
I had a reservation, and the manager called just an hour before check in letting me know they canceled it. Their poor excuse was that booking.com overbooked rooms. They think I’m dumb if they think that’s believable.
What actually happened is they sold our reservation for more money because the cotton bowl was taking place today at the state fair.
Y’all should be ashamed of yourselves. This is disgusting behavior.
Everything youve read in other reviews is true! Over a year ago i see reviews about the strong odors in the hallway and let me tell you IT STILL SMELLS !!!! .. As soon as you step in the elevator you know youve made a bad choice. Bathroom door had a hole in it they patched but never bothered to finish fixing. There was a drawer missing in the kitchen area. I actually smelled like whatever the hell they spray in the hallways. The walls are paper thin you could literally walk down the hall and listen to each rooms conversations. The staff was very quick to get defensive when asked anything. The owners MUST be out of state or country to allow this place to be ran this way. I would rather sleep in my car than to ever set foot in that place again.
When we arrived they said they were overbooked and the room we requested was not available. The kitchens have no utensils or plates, or pots and pans, but we could purchase a set for $30. Then on the day we were leaving at 10:30am, housekeeping shows up and wants to clean our room. We told her we have until l11:00 and she can wait till then. Not pleased with this place and will never return.
The room smelled of urine especiall in the restroom and was very dirty I tried to clean it for my stay but I became very exhausted and frustrated so I checked out two hours later. I filed a complaint but the hotel room
and the desk clerk lying to me about the manager's work schedule, She would not give me the correct times for me to speak to the manager. I will NEVER stay at another WoodSprings in my life. NEVER
I got a room at WoodSpring, first room, the toilet would not flush, second room smelled horribly of marijuana. I figured I would just put up with the smell until I started getting a headache. A very well dressed black woman was passed out (not sleeping) in the lobby mouth open and no one would call the EMS. the front desk clerk told me not to worry about it cause she was logged in the system and she was "trouble." This woman was in obvious distress. I did not feel safe staying there. Now the location is saying that I used the room when I have receipts that I did not say. They are saying that I stayed there, made a mess of the room and the room keeper had to clean it! This narrative is completely false.I have given them my receipts. I even door dashed at the holiday inn that I actually stayed at. Tell me you would have stayed somewhere that you did not feel safe. Them lying about me staying and making a mess of the room, it just proves I made the right decision to leave. Stay away from this awful hotel!
