With being located on one of the better sides of town. And with the closeness of the freeway and a gas station next door .these quality's make this place a great place to stay ... recently a new general manager has been brought onto the property and completely made a huge difference 360° from the old general manager who did not really do anything at all. The old general manager was more worried about what her family was doing because half of them were employed at the hotel but now times have changed and a gentleman by the name of Danny was brought onto the property as a general manager and like I stated it has done a complete 360 of the way that this hotel is run. The only concerns that I hear from myself and others who stay at this property is why do the staff get to park in the front parking spots and use cones to save their spots when they leave? Any other place that I've been or any other job that I have worked employees always had to park at the back of the building not the front where the valued guest should be parking.moral with staff members seem to be improving since a better general manager has been brought on a few months ago . Great leadership starts at the top of the management chain and trickles down if you have bad management then you have bad employees to have a general manager that sets the example for all employees to follow is a great quality for somebody who should run this property and so far that has been achieved my only real negative about the property is the overnight cleaning/security guy who is not very responsive to taking phone calls from guest when there is an issue with other guests that is something that could really be improved besides that it's a great place to stay.thanks Danny for all your hard work and dedication to making this property better .
This hotel has been so amazing to me and my fiance. The staff is by far the best out of any of the Wood springs I have stayed at. I greatly appreciate how the staff is super nice and considerate to there guest. The hotel is very clean the maintenance is maintained. By far the best hotel I've stayed at.
The place is clean, especially the laundry room. Price is better than anywhere in town. It's also quiet. Mostly, people who have a day job stay here. People who work at this motel are always cool to have small talks. They address any concerns you might have. Danny, Mark, and Lisa are always down to earth.
I’ve stayed in multiple hotels, across multiple states, and I can easily say that this WoodSpring Suites is one of my Favorites! The management and staff are super friendly and helpful, the rooms and halls are always pristine and it’s 2 mins away from all the stores and restaurants. If you’re looking for best bang for your buck for an extended stay with the least amount of hassle and headache, look no further, this is your spot.
The lady kicked me out without explaintion and won't give my money back and I'm 7 months pregnant homeless with my 1 year old daughter the owner even threatened to call the police when I asked her if I could have half the money back so that way me and my daughter had money at least but she did not this is crazy how I was treated here and I won't be coming back to this hotel EVER AGAIN and I want my money back the fact that the own couldn't even tell me why I had to leave and Immediately said she would call the police if I didn't leave like why did you through out a pregnant women with her 1 year old child and keep my money so kicked us out into the cold a couple of days before Christmas and take all my money...for no reason even the security told me to call corporate on yall smh but this comment will do for now
I just want to start off by saying there is new management here! The new General Manager's name is Danny. He was one of the managers at Urbancrest. He is phenomenal! His personality is seriously already making this place different in such a good way! He honestly attends to any and everything going on. Whether that be a question you may have, he offers a group discount if you have a company and employees with you. He stays on high alert to any traffic coming and going. He gets to know everyone that stays. He likes to know everything going on at all times and that right there is what you call good management! ????
I stayed at this location some years back, and I did not have a good experience. But now, I went back because I heard of new management there. You guys seriously won't regret staying here if you need to. There are so many stores close by, it's even close to the Ohio State University. Easy access to the freeway. My all time favorite part about this location, you're not rushed out to leave because it's an extended stay, so if you need more time due to an event going on in your life, in between places, work, ect... this place will make you feel at home! It seriously has a work out facility!!! This place rocks!!!!! ???? ???? ????
Absolutely blown away how clean and quiet this place is. Desk staff is amazing and cleaning lady is great! Definitely recommend this place for long term stays. It's a nice mini suite with fridge stove top and wood floors. Have any questions call front desk. They will be more than happy to assist you in any way possible
our room had all sorts of bugs crawling out of the walls in the bathroom. lady at the front desk thinks she can tell people what to wear and how to dress while doing so rudely. only 1 guest gets access to the wifi from what the sheet of paper says. I would strongly suggest spending your money elsewheres
