The water in the room wouldn’t get hot. No shower curtain & there were roaches in the first room. Lady at the front desk was very friendly & claimed to have to not seen roaches before… also didn’t want to see the pictures of the roaches.. moved me to another room that was half cleaned but I didn’t see any more bugs. I always take my own towels, pillows & blankets, the ones on the bed don’t look like they get cleaned. Affordable but wouldn’t stay here unless I had NO OTHER CHOICE.
I can’t even tell you how bad this place is. Every night the smell of marijuana was so over powerful in the halls and outside . My dog threw up 3 times while we was there I really think she might have gotten high. A guy grabbed my key because I dropped it on the frown he would not give it back I hit him with my crutch. He was so high I don’t even think he knew what yr it was. I left two days early for my own sanity I had things I still needed to do in sc before I left town I had to go. They need to shut this place down had roaches I did not even get any money refunded back it is a dump
Do not,I repeat do not stay here. Run to the next hotel. It is not kept up and clean, your the staff for your stay .I had an issue with checking in and when I called back to speak with the so called General Manager Keisha. She was rude and nasty as hell talking over you,not listening and not acknowledging that her staff made and error. She was not compassionate at all. You should not be a manager or general manager of any sort, talking like that to customers. There was one young lady that took the time to feel my frustration and acknowledged someone else's mistake. Thank you,you know whom you are. Take your hard earned money and go somewhere were you are valued. The owner I was told by staff does not believe in putting money into his hotel and is cheap. In order to get good feed back from your customers you must present good customer service and presentation. Owner fix your hotel and hire some staff that will represent your name.
The good things: The lady at the front desk was very nice. The place was affordable and conveniently located to i20. The floors throughout the hotel were really nice.
The bad things: the elevator and halls reeked of marijuana. The noise from traffic (specifically motorcycles was so LOUD till at least midnight that you couldn't hear the TV or sleep. The room only had one end table, no lamps at all, it was a suite but didn't have any form of utensils or dishes to utilize the kitchenette. The blinds were broken in our room, the comforter was scratchy. I wouldn't recommend it unless you absolutely had no choice.
Thursday, the 4th of July, was an unforgettable time. We sat around like family. Eating, laughing, joking, listening to music, and having fun. Only things that was missing was a grill, dominoes and cards, LOL. For real. I felt like II was with family. I miss that. That meant a lot. Those moments were precious and priceless and I will treasure them always! I am blessed and grateful that I have them as a family at this location!
I love these rooms because they have a stove top and I love to cook. We did see a couple of roaches this time, but they do travel just like people do
Other than the lovely girl working the desk this place was a disaster. In addition to the mess in the photos there were a lot of bugs, the TV didn't work at all, the outlets sparked when I tried to plug in my phone, we had to go retrieve pillows because there were none when we got in to our room, broken light switch plates and an outlet missing the plate entirely(seriously? They're not even expensive), and the toilet wouldn't properly flush. The first time I came here was wonderful but it has gone so far down hill.
Manager Keisha and staff are always extremely nice and welcoming.
