My husband travels for work and we stay in Wood Springs hotels all the time they’re always nice clean. The staff is friendly and we really enjoy saying well that all changed with this wood springs my husband always books them out a month in advance and he does the flex rate where you pay a week at a time and you get a lower rate we’ve been doing this for about five years now When we arrived at Wood Springs a week ago, the nighttime manager Taylor was very rude to us and said no that’s not how we do it here and up charged us by $70 and told us that we couldn’t book it out for the month. We could only book it out for the week well my husband paid for it because it was late at night and we were exhausted from our long drive The next day he went down and talked to the daytime manager. She said that was completely wrong and she reimbursed us the $70 and put us at the rate we were supposed to pay now when we got to the room it was dirty. The tub has stains all inside of it. The inside burner drip pans were missing. The shower curtain was missing. There was garbage underneath the kitchen sink and the vent was hanging from the ceiling which they took care of the next morning while they didn’t take out the garbage from under the sink, but they took care of everything else And we stayed for the week . we went to pay for our second week and Taylor was there and he told my husband no you guys are only weekly and she didn’t have a right to do that. I’m the manager and I’m changing it back. My husband told him no that’s not how it works and argued with him so he refused to Extend our stay. We had two hours to haul all of our stuff down four of stairs because of course the elevator broke, and now we are heading to another hotel And we will never stay at another Woodsprings again if you are smart pay extra stay somewhere else this place is absolutely disgusting. We contacted corporate and they said they can’t help us because he changed our reservation in the system . I have taken many pictures and I hope they get shut down.
If you can afford to stay somewhere else, please do so. This was a last minute trip for business and I regret it. Upon arriving, the hotel is on a dead end road with no lighting. The room was SO filthy. I removed the blankets and covers as I always do and didn’t see bed bugs but found hair and other weird dirt debris on the sheet. Roaches were crawling on the kitchenette and the back wall of the stove area looked like there was dried food that hadn’t been cleaned.
We paid $90 and now having a difficult time getting a refund. I highly encourage you and your family to stay elsewhere. This place needs to be shut down or hire better cleaners and an exterminator!
I see all these bad reviews but I've been here for 4months now yes at first price was a little high but now at a very good rate. Taylor is great here all the staff is. If you ask for anything they gladly help you. Alot of good people stay here. Walk outside at anytime and you are greated with friendly people. Will be here till after the new year when I get own place. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay. If anyone had issues with staff you need to realize they are human everyone has a bad day every once in awhile nobody is perfect don't let 1 bad thing influence your future. For people saying front desk people are rude I've been there multiple times when guest come in if you keep giving a bad attitude I don't blame them for giving it back. You get back what you give out and 90% of people always give attitude because they think they are entitled. You give respect you get it back. Respect is earned not just given. Sorry not sorry. Keep up good work staff
Let's start with location because that's the least concerning part. It's on a dead end road with no lighting. There are absolutely no signs that say the hotel is anywhere near the area. Now to the actual hotel itself. The hotel check in stops at 10:00 pm, after that you have to use an old phone to call a help desk somewhere. They don't take reservations or book nights after 1am so if you are traveling and need a place to spend the night,you can't stay here! I was met by the night worker and was told 1st they were overbooked and there were no rooms. Then was told there were 6 rooms but they were all dirty. Then he found a room magically. Standing in the lobby to check in I watch a group of cockroaches race down the walls. I was given 2 pillows because the room didn't have any. 1 was covered in mold and had pubic hair on it, the other was just nasty. I was given 2 blankets to use as pillows but they night worker! I walked to the room, which smelled like weed, and noticed a multitude of dead cockroaches all over the counter tops and floor. There was black stuff in the bathtub and even more roaches in there. This place is down right disgusting!!!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE
The rooms aren't bad, you have to wash the blankets they give you on the bed yourself .they only give out fresh sheets when you ask. You're getting what you pay for with this place. The manager or whoever he is Taylor I believe his name is has horrible customer service ! Companies will literally put the worst people in customer service and management positions. He needs to go across the street and manage the econolodge with his skill set. The GM doesn't even care if he's rude. It's so many people complaining about him but he's still there. Shows you how much they really care about these reviews with a damn near same "response from owner" BS.
me and my girl and our puppy was staying at this hotel and was there for almost a week. we didnt bother noone or anything. everyday we would book our room online and they would cancel it and when we went to pay for the room they was always over charging up it went from 74 to 98 in two days i worked at hotels so i know the taxes wasnt as much as what they said we never got room service or anything the whole bottom floor smelled just like weed all day everyday but they told us our room smelled like smoke (cigs) and we know it didnt they tried to charge us 300 for that, so we left after that cause they was always rude to us and all very judgemental cause we are lesbains and white couple. they even tried to make us pay them 10 dollars to wash there own lien and that isnt right at all. why would i pay you to wash your hotels towels and blankets our towel bowl was broken and they never fixed it said they would do it when they got time. it was not a bad hotel but very ghetto and rude all together they didnt care about the guest at all unless they was there favorite ones or not gay. i will not be back and i would not recommend anyone to go there if you like ghetto and want your kids to smell weed all day and watch drugs deals in the back park.
Broken glass outside. Windows busted. Sketchy area. Shut up to check in at 11:50 and called about 10 times and literally couldn’t even even get through the front door had to go to a different hotel. Nobody works at this place from 11p.m to 7 AM.
Had to cancel my whole reservation yeah, nobody informed me that they close at 11. What even is that?
RUDE THE STAFF IS TERRIBLE. MY ROOM HASNT BEEN CLEANED IN 3 WEEKS. TAYLOR IS TERRIBLE. I DONT KNOW IF THAT IS EVEN IS REAL NAME BECAUSE SO EVASIVE AND NASTY. CORPATE REALLY NEED TO COME IN THERE AND TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS. UNREAL. AND HE CALLED ME A LIAR WHILE I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH CORPORATE BECAUSE I COMPLAINED ABOUT THE ROOM NOT BEING CLEANED. IVE BEEN HERE FOR 6 WEEKS ROOM HAS BEEN CLEANED ONE TIME AND I HAD TO BEG FOR THAT CLEANING.
