Excellent Stay with Outstanding Service
I recently stayed at WoodSpring Suites in Austin, TX, and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the customer service was top-notch. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable.
The room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The amenities were perfect for my needs, with a well-equipped kitchenette, comfortable bed, and plenty of storage space. It truly felt like a home away from home.
The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby restaurants, stores, and attractions in Austin. Despite its proximity to major areas, the hotel was quiet, ensuring a restful stay.
Overall, I highly recommend WoodSpring Suites for anyone visiting Austin. The combination of excellent service, cleanliness, and comfort made it an outstanding experience. I’ll be staying here again on future trips!
Sleep... just not on woodsprings frontage road I-35!!! The staff here is amazing!! Everyone here is very hard working, they will go above and beyond to ensure a great stay no matter if it's one night or something more long term. Been staying here almost a month now and love it here.Located next to a 24 hour restaurant and several convenient stores ,one that one that is also open 24 hours.It's a great spot to stay if traveling especially if you have to ride share to places.Rooms here have always been very clean and welcoming along with the staff.Front desk,house keeping and maintenance all work together like family here. Regardless of how the algorithm will rate this Hotel it's a very beautiful place to be.....
Sometimes cheaper is not worth it. This hotel advertised recently renovated rooms. Upon walking in the lobby was still under renovation, I had to push through some paper in order to enter the lobby. The front desk gentleman was nice, he checked us in quickly, but I already had a bad feeling upon seeing the current state of the hotel. When we arrived in our room, the first thing I noticed was the bed had one pillow. Upon further inspection I found a dead cricket on the floor and a dead mosquito in the sink. My first thought was "has this room actually been cleaned?" As far as I can tell the recent renovations were mostly a paint job, and by paint job I mean splatter paint. I am not sure who they hired to do the painting, but paint was everywhere, the floor, the sink, the appliances. A 3 year old probably could have done a better job.
Upon asking for more pillows the front desk gentleman said "let me see if I can find any, and I'll bring them to your room." So we waited, and waited, and I began to realize he wasn't coming. I went back out and told him we literally only had one pillow, and he said "only one?". He then proceeded to go find pillows somewhere, and pillow is not quite the term I'd use, they were the thinnest, flattest, sad excuses for a pillow I'd ever seen.
Upon going to bed, I quickly realized that the rooms were not sound proofed in any sort of way, I heard every noise from inside the building to whatever vehicle was beeping and flashing at 3am. The bed...firm is not a bad thing, but this was way to firm, as I am typing this my back is sore from trying to sleep on it. I say trying because I barley got any sleep.
Yes, this review is mostly complaining, but also it's a warning and hopefully a protective factor for others. Do your research before booking hotels.
Just so we end on a positive note, here are a few positives.

New management and staff are so helpful! The room is spacious and clean. It has everything you need for a short or long stay. They are also pet friendly and has dog bin stations.I would highly recommend, thank you for your Kind service Paula and staff.
Don’t stay here unless it’s literally your only option stayed for 6 days paid for 7 but couldn’t take it anymore
1. The renovation part is a Lie if it’s true hate to see what it looked like before
2. Room smells and only have one pillow Ask for new sheets and was denied the Women told me that she was washing them and to come back. I waited till 1 AM for her to tell me they don’t change out sheets at night the next morning. I asked another person they switched them out but didn’t even get a pillow case . I had to put my PILLOW Under the sheets
3. I FOUND A ROACH IN THE SHOWER !
This place is not worth the price at all And the customer service is what puts the cherry on top Very rude and Inconsiderate service ps there favorite word is no

Positive: The hotel front desk has both professional staff and extremely unprofessional employees! I enjoyed being assisted by the professional staff. Negative: I didn?t enjoy when the unprofessional staff took her problems out on me!
I booked a week, still here atm. As for the room, it's painted, no stains or anything, bathroom and tub look pretty good, refrigerator, stove, micro, all clean and work good, look pretty new
I think they are in the middle of remodeling, so I have changed my original rating to take that into account. My room, although actually pretty nice, did have a smell. The air condition was changed out, did help a bit, but definitely didn't get rid of it. I feel that will the effort they are doing to renew the hotel, they will figure out how to get rid of that smell.
I would say for the price if your doing the weekly rate, is a good deal. Like I said utilities and such are good and clean, no bugs in my room during the week and I'm probably not the cleaning 100% after I cook.
To be honest, if the room didn't smell, I would have been quite happy with the room and price. And they did try and do something about the smell.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The front desk staff were extremely unprofessional and rude. Don't waste your money! Book somewhere else if you can help it.
