The shower works good. There are long-term stays in the hotel that were loud from 10pm-1am. The strange thing was that no one man's the front desk. We had to call the number and wait to be seen. Also strange is the room has a kitchen without any way to cook, or eat. No pans, no dishes, no silverware and none available at front desk. The mattress is on a frame that hangs over the edge. Staff was kind. The was a small shampoo and soap bar. Towels were new and fluffy. The smell in the elevator and halls was hardly bearable. Lots of smokers and long term stays near the property. people were kind. Animals are allowed. Lots of dogs on property.
I stayed here not expecting a Hyatt Place , but roaches were totally unexpected and shocking . I mentioned to the front desk man who was very nice ..wasn’t offered any type of discount for the miserable experience.
It was just “sorry about that”.
Checked into a room last night(9-16), it was filthy. There was trash all over the floor ( like it had not been swept or mopped), the air vents had dust and trash caked on them, the cabinets had food and dust on them. The vent hood over the two burners has caked on grease and fruit flies. The refrigerator and microwave have both lights missing and were filthy. Also a bonus no microwave plate to even be able to warm things up! I went to the front desk this morning (9-17) to discuss these issues and was basically dismissed saying the head housekeeper came and cleaned before we arrived. While I’m not trying to cause an issue that is not how customers should be dealt with. We booked for the month but will be finding somewhere else to stay.
Had my truck broken into in the parking lot. Front desk said there are no exterior cameras at all. Said maybe just park in the well lit areas. Tried to charge me 50.00 for leaving a bag of trash outside my door to be picked up. Since no one ever came and cleaned or checked in my room the door hole time I was there. There are people just hanging out in the stairwells at all hours of the night. I would say go to the motel 6 next door.
Keep in mind it's a $50 per night room. Located right by the highway and next to QT. Noisy both externally and inside. Ample parking. Bed wasn't uncomfortable. Slow Wi-Fi (6 Mbps), clean room, which smelled of cigarette smoke, even though it was a nonsmoking room.
Would not stay at this motel again.
Positive: Very clean with a comfortable mattress Negative: The front reception area was almost prison like with its roll up security door and very little area.
Room was spotless, bathroom as well.
Full size fridge and small 2 burner hot plate. The blind in the room was stuck open, but gentleman at front desk said he would call maintenance. Surprisingly in 10 minutes a gentleman showed up and replaced curtain. The reason I gave it a 3 stars: there was nothing on the walls, no lamp on the nightstand and in other reviews people said the walls were thin. ( and they were right). In the morning no one was at front desk ( pull down door was locked)
No place that I could see to put room key.
No coffee anywhere that I saw.
Let me repeat: staff was friendly and polite! Price was great
Positive: "" Negative: I asked them to cancel one of my days and instead they cancelled the whole reservation, which was actually a blessing in disguise as while I was trying to straighten everything out, someone was in the front lobby bleeding everywhere. Drug deal gone bad?
