This place is the place to be for sports, a chill atmosphere, catch a vibe, and/or a fun meal with the family. I seen everyone from couples, to the single diner, to families of 6 eating in this restaurant and everyone was having a great time.
They have bar seating, high tables, and low tables. The high tables even have high chair accommodations! That blew me away! If you have small children and want to sit at a high table, their high chairs are high enough!
There is also patio dining if you want to enjoy the weather and a few arcade games as in two. It is a louder place so if you have people or children in your group who do not like loud environments, may not be the best place.
The food was absolutely delicious! The giant pretzel is most definitely without a doubt A GIANT PRETZEL! It is sooooo tasty though! Not salted to much but just perfectly with a buttery outer layer and crisped just enough to have a soft as velvet inside. Fish that pretzel was memorable. Cheese dipping sauce comes on the side!
The buffalo chicken salad was fresh and crisp. Very good salad and large filling portion. I ordered mine Hot and it has a nice kick to it. Great amount of bleu cheese crumbles and veggies!
The steak sandwich is tender and juicy and the meat has a lot of flavor! Substitute the hoagie for Texas Toast! ????????????the tater tots are hella good! Crispy and soft inside.
Lastly but not least is the banana pudding! ???????????????????????? highly recommend!!!
My recent visit to Woodson's was a delightful culinary experience. The brisket fries were a standout, offering a perfect blend of smoky, tender brisket atop crispy fries and cheese, creating a mouthwatering dish that's both delicious and affordable. The birria was another highlight—rich, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying with the consume.
My wife enjoyed the shrimp tacos, which were fresh and perfectly seasoned. To top it off, we paired our meals with the watermelon margarita, which was refreshing and well-balanced.
Overall, Woodson's delivers on both taste and value. Highly recommended!
The atmosphere was great. The service was very attentive. The food was amazing. We will definitely be going to back. If your looking for something unique to try get one of the egg rolls. We ordered the Philly egg roll and tx popper egg roll.
I absolutely enjoyed my time here! The menu had such variety I will be returning :) Today I got the Birria Egg Rolls, a fantastic and delicious twist on the classic Birria Taco. I loved it. All of our food ordered came out in a timely manner and was delicious. Our server, Skylar, was bubbly and incredibly attentive. She even spoke to my little girl directly and made her smile ???? Overall a great place I recommend everyone to try!
Food was awesome. I really enjoyed the large soft pretzel and cheese sauce. Could have used a little more cheese sauce as I ran out before finishing the pretzel. I had the French dip grilled cheese with onion rings which was also awesome. Service was great. I had to deduct 2 stars because the metal high table chairs were the most uncomfortable chairs I’ve ever sat in. I had to stand a couple times because I kept getting sore. I would have stayed longer to continue watching the game and ordering more beer but I had to cut my visit short as I was too uncomfortable. They really need to replace those chairs with more comfortable padded chairs with backs. I will be back but won’t be sitting at the high tables.
Went to dinner with the team based on one of their recommendations. 4 stars for food is based on the appitizer. We had more on team feedback of the food than mine. Started with the pretzel, and what a surprise. Texas size and the cheese dip was awesome. While that was the highlight for me, a couple of the guys were impressed with the Texas sized chicken fingers. Hamburger was lacking flavor and toppings. Removed the top bun and ate half the buger. Another person had the shrimp tacos and said they were good. Plenty of tv's with numerous sporting events on. Server's was a little forgetful, but it was pretty busy. Once and done, but I checked the box for dinner.
Was my second time coming here food was amazing. I got the woodsons wrap which was delicious ???? . Sadly we are moving so I wanted to get one last meal from this amazing place
This is our first time coming here!!! Man we were blown away!! It was so good. They were booked so there was room at the bar. The bartender was on point. She was off the hook. The atmosphere felt like The Yardhouse. We will be back. My wife tried out the Mac n Cheese and it was alright. But everything was off the hood and delicious. Very flavorful. Thank you for a great time. Keep up the great attitude and the great good.
