Best WLM Reviews
Great staff with big smiles and good food!! Came here just for "the best Club Sandwich" in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Perdido Key!! Situated in a state park, this gem is off the beaten path and worth a quick lunch! Burger, Club Sandwich, and to be honest, the best dang grilled chicken sandwich in the southeast!
Great place to stop after a bike ride and have a drink and eat. Great food for breakfast and lunch. Drinks for the kids and adults. Bloody Maria is great. Staff is friendly and attentive. Great place to grab a few souvenirs for the trip. Large area for groups and they have live music.
This is one of the best breakfast restaurants I have ever eaten at the prices are very reasonable. All the meals are $14 and you can add a side of anything for just four dollars. The egg white omelette was super delicious. GRITS are another favorite of mine. they had really good breakfast sandwiches. Also, the staff was incredible. So kind of helpful and just always happy. If you are in Gulf Shores, you’ve got to eat here for breakfast. I highly recommend this place.????
Note: Restaurant doesn’t accept hotel dining credits if you’re staying at The Lodge

Patty is seasoned really well and chips are crispy

This is an interesting dish. There is a very very strong ginger taste to it, almost resembling an Asian cuisine. Brussels spouts was cooked to perfection. However I felt that the fish and the couscous combination tasted quite bland. Can’t put a finger on what’s wrong with it.
This place was our breakfast spot when we stayed at the Eagle Cottages in the Gulf State Park. We loved everything about this little restaurant. The staff went above and beyond to make it a pleasant experience for our family of 7. The food was delicious and fresh. Huge portions is an understatement here. I couldn’t finish my food even if I tried. I recommend the pancakes and the biscuit and gravy for breakfast. Can’t wait to come back!
We stopped in after riding the bike through the Gulf State Park for drinks. It offers an adorable corner gift shop, cold bottled drinks, a restaurant, has indoor seating, or outdoor seating. Perfect place to stop and refuel. Emma at the counter was a delight to visit with!
Exceptional American fair eatery tucked back in Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores, Alabama. For our lunch visit we clearly over ordered as the portions are oversize. We had the Rattlesnake Ridge salad, chicken wings and an afternoon special. The restaurant has an open dining room with plenty of seating. The walk up counter makes it easy to order and view the menu.
The atmosphere is charming, rustic, clean and cool when it is hot outside.
They have a nice outdoor seating area with patio lights that would be nice for evenings as long as you bring your bug spray. They have some activities, such as cornhole, badminton, and other games. It appears they also offer live music.
There is plenty of parking and if you feel up to it, ride your bike
Highly recommended
You order at the front, they hand you a number, then bring your food to you. You get your own drinks, which is sort of nice. I would say 3 stars because it was fairly overpriced for the underwhelming quality of the food.
I had the Brisket Tacos (YUM), my only complaint here is there wasn’t much in the tacos, the ratios were off due to this (too much tortilla and not enough filling). Especially because they were $17… My mom had the rattlesnake salad ($13). It was unfortunately extremely bitter, needed something sweet in there to offset the bitterness of the arugula and sour-esque dressing. We then went up and ordered something else because the tacos, while not bad in taste, weren’t all that filling and you’ve already heard about our experience with the salad. We chose to order the $8 Mac and cheese. It was milk with a tint of yellow, some breadcrumbs thrown on top, and very under seasoned. The bowl was luckily a good size and we walked away sort of satisfied in appetite but by far in taste and quality.
All of this to say, the staff was amazing! So kind and polite. The place is very clean, good bathrooms, nice atmosphere. You could go on a date or bring your family here and play games and shop a little. The food was just overall disappointing, and overpriced or just not matching the price point for what it was.
