Nice little dive bar, went on a Wednesday during happy hour 3-7. Cheap drinks, cheap food and great service! My son ordered wings with crab seasoning fries and loved the wings!! Bartender did an awesome job running the place all by herself. We played pool and darts— enjoyed ourselves!!
I had an amazing double bacon cheeseburger at Casey's Woodshed Bar.
The burger was cooked perfectly, featuring a thick and real patty that was juicy and flavorful.
The crinkle-cut fries were also cooked to perfection, complementing the burger wonderfully.
Whether you're coming to drink, or looking for food to go I'd say the Woodshed is the spot.
I am raising the star score to 3 because it isn't fair to judge the whole bar over one bartender. I received excellent service the other times I have been here.
June 30, 2024, Ken was working.
He was not friendly. I asked if they had anything on special. KEN BARKED AT ME, "IT'S 8 AM . NOTHING IS ON SPECIAL!"
I told him I was planning to order breakfast. He barked, "WE DON'T SERVE FOOD UNTIL 11." And he expected me to leave, but I surprised him by ordering a drink, Ken didn't deserve the $1 tip I gave him, but I was brought up to tip, and write reviews.
Cool little spot to hang out at, came here Saturday. Just need to fix the lottery machine. Bartender was super friendly.
Now this is a locals bar! It's got a "been here forever" feel about it in the best way possible. If Sam Elliot had a favorite Tempe bar to hang out at, this would be it.
Leave your fancy girl that only orders salad for dinner at home. Wings are great.
The bartenders are great, owner is nice. The comedy open mic every Wednesday is a lot of fun. Eventful dive
Brandon Casey is a legend, had to stop in on my visit and drop off some Buckfast. Seriously best dive bar, great food and amazing people there!
Woodshed is a phenomenal dive bar equipped with pool tables, arcade games, a patio, and plenty of diverse seating.
Our bartenders were great, participating in our conversation in an unobtrusive way that felt warm and genuine.
Good prices, good vibes, good people. Can’t speak for the food yet, but I’ll be back to give it a try sometime soon.
