I have been a client/patient of Dr. Woodrome's practice for more than 4 years. I have always been treated kindly and with respect. Dr. Woodrome and his staff has always put my well being over profit, and that has led to improving the quality of life for me.
I give Dr. Woodrome a 5 star rating and will suggest his practice to everyone I know.
Waited 2.5 hours for my appointment to find out my doctor no longer works there (third time this has happened) and then I have my visit with another Nurse practitioner only for some other patients prescription to be called in under my name. I tried to call to let the office know and was immediately put on hold and then went to voicemail after 15 minutes of waiting on the phone. Needless to say I'm disappointed in their system and won't be back. Seems as though new policies or procedures need to be put into place for the office to run like an actual dr office. They put the nail in the coffin for me.
Don't even bother wasting your time with any of their locations. They take a month to get a referral done and if there is an issue with your insurance they won't tell you until you owe thousands! And they won't tell you until you need your medications refilled and then they will refuse to see you until you get it taken care of. Even after I got it taken care of they still refused to see me even with verification that the issue was resolved until they knew that all past claims would be paid for. They have no care or consideration for their patients or for your health and care. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
Every time I've come here, with an appointment, I've still had to sit around and wait for, on average, almost an hour. I don't get sick that often, so thankfully I don't have to come in much. The only thing that has changed from times before is instead of waiting in the waiting room, now I get put in the exam room and wait there instead.
And exam room 4 is terrible. I can't speak for the others right now, but I assume they're in the same shape. I feel as if I'm in a vet's office instead of a doctors office. The floor is so decrepit and dirty, you can feel the grit through the soles of your shoes.
The waiting room and nurses areas are nice and clean and well kept.
My doctor here is good, but I'm considering changing because they don't value their customers' time. It feels like they're money hungry or they would cut down on their appointments to make things better.
I love, love , love Dr. Woodrome and Dr. Taylor. The major complaint that I have is that when something urgent comes up and you really need to speak to Dr. Woodrome, that’s next to impossible. There are things that have went on that definitely shouldn’t have. Had it not been for Ms. Deanna/Deonna(back office) I would have been blocked from their office. This has impacted my life in ways it shouldn’t have. With my past history, anything that happens with me is obviously questionable. So when there are 4-5 urine cups in the back and you have to trust these people to not mix it up and it happens, it’s insane. Thank god the day that this happened, I reported straight to probation and passed. I have no room in my life for mix ups and told that if I have another dirty ua I’m being cut off!!! For one I didn’t have the first dirty ua. I got too comfortable into believing one of the personnel would have my back and front for me knowing what it would cost me. Instead I was told she has too many patients to do that. Shame on me for getting complacent.
I've used Dr Woodrome's clinic in Onalaska for years. I have visited the Livingston location several times. I dreaded that experience each and every time as it was just a vicious cycle of never ending covid tests which meant sitting in my vehicle and they were always negative. My sinus infection lasted months with office visits every 2 weeks. A covid tested required at day 14 and my appointment was always set 14 or 15 days apart. I gave up and lived with the infection until homeopathic remedies finally resolved it.
The human experience at the Livingston office was awful but satellite offices were not open at the time. I tolerated that biding my time until I can get back to my usual office.
OnCe I was able to return I found their billing system an absolute mess. I have outstanding debts I was never informed of, and, although this was their error, I was refused service until paid. Since there is no privacy in the office I knew I was not the only one having this experience. Then I find I am paying for things my insurance had paid already. I could get credit only, not reimbursement.
Last week when I went they wanted over $100 up front because I have a deductible plan. My plan clearly states to bill I surance and then collect from the patient after the claim is processed.
Goodbye Woodrome. I sincerely hope my NP goes somewhere else and I can find her.
Doctors are not bad but the office staff is horrible. If you have to be referred they can't get their stuff together. I even called from the hospital to ask a question was in speaker, they were very rude to me in front of the people at the hospital who witnessed it. I would not recommend this place at all. They are not organized enough or customer friendly. Horrible service.
Worst experience of my entire life. Receptionists are incompetent rude women who care nothing for people. Waiting room and exam rooms are dirty, filthy saunas. They don’t even care enough to keep it comfortable in there for patients, and the wait time to get into your appointment is over an hour. Then, in the exam room, you wait a while for the incompetent nurse, then wait a while for the incompetent doctor, and then wait again for the nurse, and maybe the doctor again, depending on what you are there for. Then you get the runaround about your results and confusing information about what you need to do next in order for them to help you further, putting your plans at a complete standstill. This all means you will sit there for over an hour sweating in a crowded dirty sauna to then wait even longer to receive poor treatment from incompetent people and you won’t even get what you came for, what you went through all of that hell for, in the end. All you will get is cash grabbing doctors who won’t help you until you have more unnecessary tests done. They just want more and more of your money. I was floored and disgusted. Never, ever, ever, ever again. Do yourself a favor. Do not waste your time. Do not go here. Do more research than I did and find a GOOD office to go to for your medical needs. If you go to this place, you will regret it.
