Best WLM Reviews

I used to enjoy woodlands for the vegetarian offerings. Not any more. I believe they changed Management. Over priced. Quality has fallen down the cliff. The only saving grace was "mysore masala dosa" and "avial" curry" in lunch.
Note to owner: Serving "Chana" in "royal thali" is not a good choice (They served 2 curries, Chana being one of them. Other was "Avial").
They also removed appetizer from "Royal Thali". When I asked, their reply was "Management changed".

Woodlands is a pretty mediocre Indian restaurant in Orlando. It almost feels as if it was one of the original spots for Indian food here, and unfortunately, as more Indian restaurants have moved to the OBT area, it’s quite a bit outdated compared to others. We have been to a majority of Indian restaurants in Orlando, and pretty much all of the ones right nearby Woodlands, and I can’t see a scenario where I would recommend this restaurant over others like Gully, Bombay and Khasiyat, unless those places are closed. There wasn’t anything inherently wrong with this place, and a few things we ordered were quite good, but we weren’t “amazed” by anything. The malai kofta was our favorite dish we ordered, the gobi manchurian with gravy is something you should pass on, and the mixed appetizer platter was pretty good, but some things on the platter weren’t our favorite. The batura bread was quite good, so I can assume other breads like naan would be good here as well. The service was kind of weird here - you have to waive down waiters and waitresses to get them to come to your table for bill, but at the same time they’re just staring at you from across the restaurant and it’s sorta awkward. Also, the exterior of the building is quite dilapidated, and it doesn’t have an inviting atmosphere. They should definitely do some updating to make it more appealing. Overall, we would probably try this place again, but only if we were in the area, and places like Gully, Bombay, and Khasiyat weren’t open.
It’s a good Indian restaurant in the vicinity the south Indian recipes on the menu. Awesome. The Dosas were very good. The coffee was very good. This place serves the South Indian filter coffee, which is excellent. If you have a craving for a good dosa then this is the perfect place, the location of the restaurant is decent the plenty of parking on site
The food was nice and crunchy but I felt like the food was lacking more flavor and seasoning. The Manchurian was good but I got a couple of them which were not cook well from the center. And the noodle was very mid I had a lot of indo Chinese but this was bad. But the service and everything was great.
Best authentic pure veg south Indian and indo-Chinese food you can ever get in Orlando. Tried the chole batura and vada in sambar. Prices are reasonable. Service is fast and quick. Clean place. Atmosphere is very basic.
Their food never disappoints! Authentic south indian food! We always make sure to stop by Woodlands every time we are in Orlando. Rose falooda and Gobi Manchurian is amazing!! Dosas and Idly as usual very very good.. Service is also very quick even when its crowded! Highly recommend for south Indian food!! Please open in Tampa as well.
Good food, good service. I highly recommend this vegetarian restaurant. This restaurant is flexible, able to cook dishes without garlic and onion.
Suggesting to expand their restaurant since their business is so good.
Suggest to cook dishes with less salt, will be good for health. Nice environment after refurbishment.
The Indian coffee is good too.
The most authentic vegetarian indian food(south indian) in orlando. Travelled 15KM and not disappointed. Freshly cooked food with awesome taste, bring your pallets back to india. Reasonable price and ample parking. Will visit again.
