I visited for a facial and massage. While both services were great and the staff was skilled, my experience was overshadowed by a billing issue. During the facial, I was offered an upgrade for what I understood and heard to be $25, and I agreed. However, at checkout, I was informed the upgrade cost an additional $225. Whether there was a miscommunication or a mistake, I did not consent to that charge. Despite expressing my concerns, the spa manager charged my card on file without my authorization, which felt unethical.
While I appreciated the quality of the services, the lack of transparency and resolution around the billing issue left a negative impression. I hope the spa reviews their policies to ensure better communication and customer care.
Best massage ever!! Janyce did amazing for my body balance with heated stones massage. Scheduled for a relaxing birthday spa day and it was better than I expected. I had a complimentary heated neck pillow (I wanted to keep it forever), hot tea after in the lounge area, and a birthday gift to go! I will definitely be back soon ????????
I was reluctant to write this review bc I’m afraid my most amazing massage therapist will be overbooked. Lol. I called on their busiest day and they were able to find some availability for the services I wanted. When I arrived, I was welcomed and toured the facility. It’s a very intimate and warm space. The massage: honestly, I can’t even describe how absolutely amazing this massage was. I’ve had several and Michelle tops all of my experiences (even medical massages and international spa experiences). I can literally go on about this massage. I felt so relaxed and Michelle had such a sweet and calming aura. We talked like we were long time besties!
Facial: Paige was so sweet and she has really learned the art of friendliness, customer service, her expertise! The hydrafacial is superb! I was tired of paying top dollar for facials and leaving feeling like I could’ve done it at home. This experience was unique. I highly recommend.
The pedicure: Van was absolutely amazing too! She was so gentle I forgot I was getting a pedicure. She got me tea and snacks.
Officially my go to spa! I’ll be returning! Thank you Woodhouse Gaithersburg!
I really enjoyed my time here. It was very relaxing and staff was very friendly. I got a massage and facial which I would recommend. This was my first time here so I played it safe by getting a basic package. I think playing it safe is leaning towards the feeling that the massage was just ok type of feeling. It is definitely not memorable but I know I have to visit again to really nail down the rating.
20Feb.2023 One of many best days ever. The front of the spa, from Tish, to the back of the spa, Ibbon & Stephanie; everyone were so pleasant, professional, and super polite and friendly. My mate and I filled out our intake forms via online, arrived at the spa 15 minutes before our set appointment time, got the tour, sat down in the relaxation area after we got our comfy robs on and drank our cups of tea.
When it was our time for us to get our 1 hour couples massage, we absolutely loved it.
The room we were in was so soothing, from the tranquil music, right to the warm bed and foot warm foot rest. The way Ibbon and Stephanie paid attention to any sensitive spot or spots that needed more attention for massaging. After our massages we were informed to take our time getting up and the masseuse bought us back glasses of water with paper tops on them. Love how they hydrated us. The details were really wonderful. So wonderful my mate said, he was going to do this for my birthday.
We will be back.

This place is the best! The front desk staff is so professional and welcoming. Rachel is who I like to come see and she is an incredible massage therapist. She is always so accommodating and kind. Her recommendations are so thoughtful!

Beautiful and clean day spa with a knowledgeable staff who really try to please their customers. Haruna has been my nail technician for several years and has also become a good friend. She knows what type of treatment I need before I even ask, and I always feel and look better than when I walked in. A true highpoint on my calendar. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.
